Hide Out Suites

A stunning hotel that is total luxury. The property is spotless and the service is excellent. Sophia, the front desk manager was wonderful and so helpful and kind. The location is secluded so you have privacy. The rooms are beautiful , modern and extremely clean. The views of the beach from the room are incredible. You can walk to the beach, or there's a bus that stops at the hotel so you can take it to and from the beach for just a couple of Euro (it's only a few minutes by bus). The beach is large, and was our favorite beach we visited. September is a quiet time in Ios which we liked. The local restaurants are fantastic (go to Salt and Delfini Del Mar). Overall, a memorable to stay in Ios that we hope to visit again.

Totally blown away by this amazing spacious suite. Fast efficient check in following a pre-arranged collection from the port. Amazing views over the bay at Mylopotas and very private infinity pool. Sheer bliss. Only minor issues where the apartment lost the sun in afternoon around 3 and the breakfast was quite expensive at €25 per person.

Ok, so ive been all over the world , Bora Bora , Koh Samui , Oman...etc etc....they are all a bit false and touristy . BUT I can tell you that Ios and the Hide out suites are the real deal . This is true greece and greek hospitality . The suites are located just above Mylopotas bay with stunning views. The suites all have infinity pool with glass edge , they are fitted out with everything you need. Breakfast is delivered to your suite daily and all made fresh . The staff are very friendly and great witha smile each time they see you . Ios is a must visit island...go there whilst its still nice and before the tour operaters get hold of it and spoil it. Enjoy

Beautiful suites, with top class service, and the most stunning view of the Ios coastline and mountains. The service was outstanding, with breakfast at your suite served each morning a highlight. We visited on our honeymoon and they team went out of their way to make it extra special! If you’re treating yourself - this is the place to do it.

We have just returned from 5 nights at the incredible Hide Out Suites, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was bliss. The property is stunning and sits on the hillside overlooking the beach which is around a 5 minute walk. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite with Private Pool and Sea View, our suite had a kitchenette which was really helpful throughout the stay. Our terrace and pool were stunning and completely private. Our transfers were on time and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served to the room every day and the food was very good, always delivered on time, exactly as ordered and still hot. The island of Ios is beautiful and has a much calmer and secluded feel than some of its busier neighbours, there is still plenty to see and do even late in season (October). I would absolutely recommend Ios and Hide Out Suites. A couple notes that I haven’t seen mentioned elsewhere, The coffee machine is Nespresso and plenty of free pods are provided, the gym is located at Far Out Beach Club and is excellent with a wide range of weights and machines and lastly, the pool isn’t heated but that’s not such a big deal.

Wir waren anlässlich unserer Hochzeitsreise für vier Nächte im Hide Out. Der Aufenthalt war schön, jedoch haben wir uns zu diesem Preis wirklich mehr erhofft.. Vor allem die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Es wurde sehr „grob“ geputzt - auf Lampen, Tischen, Klospülung & Co. war überall Staub zu finden. Auch der Außenbereich war nicht einwandfrei sauber. Am Stuhl klebte noch der Honig vom Frühstück des Vorgängers. Als wir das Hotel darauf aufmerksam machten, wurde zwar der Honig entfernt, der Staub war leider noch immer da. Wir hatten eine der obersten Suiten. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist toll. Die eigenen Pools sind groß und auch im Oktober angenehm zum Schwimmen. Die Ausstattung allgemein ist schön, jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Anlässlich der Bilder haben wir mehr erwartet. Das Frühstück muss jeweils am Vortag aus einem Menü per Telefon bestellt werden. Die Auswahl ist gut. Man muss jedoch fast die ganze Karte bestellen, um zu zweit satt zu werden :-) Sobald man etwas „besonderes“ bestellen möchte, ist dies mit einem Aufpreis verbunden. Sprich Avocado-Toast, Eggs Benedict, Joghurt-Bowl & Co. gibt es nur gegen Extra-Bezahlung. Selbst Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso usw. kosten extra. Nur der Filter-Kaffee ist inklusive. Für uns ebenso etwas, das bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht sein dürfte!! Das Personal, vor allem die Jungs vom Frühstücksservice, sind sehr bemüht und super freundlich! Ein großes Lob :-) Den Shuttle vom Hafen zur Unterkunft habe ich im Vorfeld mit dem Hotel abgestimmt - dieser wurde mit 6€ p.P. berechnet. Bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie hätte ich erhofft, dass der Shuttle für eine so kurze Fahrt kostenlos ist. Eine öffentliche Bushaltestelle gibt es direkt vorm dazugehörigen Hotel FarOut. Alles in allem eine schöne Unterkunft, jedoch mit Mängeln. Preis-Leistung passt für uns nicht. Wir würden das Hide Out kein zweitens Mal wählen.
