I will say that I thought I was going to give a bad review, room was fantastic and hotel amenities were very good, great rooftop bar. First morning, I was told it would take five minutes to get my car from valet parking, check in, they gave me a QR code to scan when I wanted the car, when I scanned the code it immediately asked how much I wanted to tip with the minimum amount being seven dollars. Now I tend to be an over tipper, but I like to wait until I get my car before I tip a half hour later my car arrived the next morning I decided to give them a 10 minute heads up and after 25 minutes I asked them what a hold up was. Apparently they had lost the car of somebody else in front of me and we’re looking for it and there was no one available to get my car . After another 25 minutes I asked them if I could just have my car keys and walk to the parking lot and get them myself. I received a text from the Kimpton asking me how my day was so far and was there anything they could do to improve . I filled out when it happened this morning and asked them how they were going to remedy the situation. Normally these things are ignored, but they ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING. the valet charged was waived, and the next morning when I went to check out, my car was waiting for me in front of the hotel before I had even asked for it. I really appreciate it the effort, situations happen, but the important thing is how we respond to them. I give them 5/5 and will definitely stay again
