Metro Inns Huddersfield

I've used Metro Inns when I'm working in the area, bang on for the money, even got a fridge and a microwave. Bed is comfy. It does need a upgrade but it does the job :)

Really basic,no complaints about housekeeping, disappointed that we couldn't agree a longer stay always having to check apps,basically if you're contractor it's alright, but I wouldn't take the partner there

STAY AWAY... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...... A budget hotel this may be.... But this is below budget... Furniture looked like it had been eaten by a dog, 💩 stains on bed, 3 inch dust on bedside lamp, carpets filthy and minging, laundry in reception area and leaves that looked like it hadn't been swept for months. The only saving grace was the guy on reception... He was friendly and evidently upset that we checked out 10 mins after arriving. DISGUSTING, FILTHY AND RUN DOWN

This hotel is VILE. Brown stains in the bed, the carpet, the walls. Blood spatters in various places. Heater looked like it had been on fire. Curtains were stained and had rips in them. Furniture chewed by an animal. STINKS of stale fags and urine. The bath was mouldy and rusty. Checked out as soon as we checked in. Food on the floor in the hall ways. Bedding dumped in piles of leaves in the lobby. Wasn’t safe for my 11 month to be crawling round the room let alone 3 disabled adults being cramped up in a dark, filthy, smelly room. No wonder the carpark was empty.

We had an early morning (5am ish) arrival time and the staff that checked us in was was great. Only issue is I would've preferred more warmth in my room as my radiator didn't heat it up enough. My colleagues on the other hand were delighted with their room temperatures so perhaps I was just to tired to figure it out. The location is nice and quiet, no major traffic making noise in the early mornings or throughout the night and if any, the windows adequately blocked it. Petrol station next door so sustenance and refueling available 24hrs. Parking is nice and easy, maybe 20 seconds and you're inside and out of the cold. Nice vistas not too far away although my window had a nice balance. Checking out was again met with the individual quality seemingly lost or forgotten in many service establishments nowadays. The rooms were clean and good amenities with kettle fridge and microwave big spacious room. But was let down with the old uncomfortable bed and the paper thin pillows. They have a cleaner for rooms but they dont touch the corridors or stairs as there were crisps left on the floor in the corridor and bits of tissues on the stairs and i was there for 3 nights. Best bit about the hotel is its a 20 second walk to starbucks

I must admit placement of hotel was out of the way and the hallway and stairs to my room were not very clean. However i found the room to be of a high standard in size, cleanliness and amenities with a kettle and microwave. The bathroom was well done with both and shower. No food available as advised but a very good mini mart next door. Would i stay for a week - no. The road noise is high but not a major issue. But for an over night on a journey it is excellent. I have stayed in places at 2-3 times the price that were far worse. If you want really good value then it is worth all of that

Room was not fit for purpose,poorly cleaned,and overall poor condition.Entered room,felt uncomfortable,left within 20 minutes.

The hotel is old and carpets on the corridor are dirty. The bath tub looked dirty and the drain on the sink was rusty.
