We stayed 2 nights and it was incredible and relaxing from start to finish. The staff were excellent and never needed to ask they were always there and with fine dining beyond Michelin star level in Snaffles and the same quality food and service in Conor's Bar you cannot have a bad experience. The castle and grounds are amazing and the tour brought the castle alive in stories from the past. The Spa was amazing too but we did not even get a chance to sample the other areas, such as equestrian, so definitely will have to return again. Definitely will lean toward the Lodge as the Castle would be nice for an event but the Lodge handy as restaurants and spa are all together along with a nice bar area for a drink.

Whilst we had booked Castle Leslie, we did not fully understand that we had actually booked The Lodge at Castle Leslie. The Castle Leslie rooms are generally saved for bridal parties. Nevertheless, the 3 nights we stayed were comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the dinner on our first night in Snaffles Restaurant. The restaurant manager, I believe she said she was from Portugal, was an absolute delight. She knew her wine, was terrific in her recommendations and explanations of the dishes offered, and generally made our meal such fun and very memorable. All the restaurant staff, either it be in the morning breakfast or Dinner were terrific. Breakfasts were excellent. generous and great quality. We enjoyed a meal in Conors Bar which was also nice. The room was comfortable and the attached court yard was a lovely surprise. Its only 15 minute drive from Monahan and also was close enough for us to enjoy touring Newgrange. Thats a must!! so fascinating. Older than the pyramids. Parking can be an issue. On one occasion I was instructed to park in the village as function attendees had taken all the spots. Also, an extra concierge to assist with luggage would be nice. It was an enjoyable stay. good wifi, good tv options and the availability of Conors bar for a casual drink was appreciated.

I stayed in the lodge for 5 nights by myself and it was incredible from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The grounds, the buildings and the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the photographs online can’t do them enough justice. My room was so luxurious and comfortable and honestly they’d just thought of everything. I went for a carriage ride during my stay as well as a beginners horseback ride. Both were amazing experiences with beautiful scenery throughout. The daytime tour of the castle was really interesting and I’d highly recommend this if you get the time. The food I had here, especially in snaffles was easily the best food I have ever eaten. Breakfast was always such a lovely experience, the layout was incredible and the cooked breakfasts were delicious. I was lucky that on 3 out of 5 of my nights there were no weddings so I was able to see a lot of the castle. The view of the lake and the castle at night is just breathtaking and I’d highly recommend trying to line up your stay when there isn’t a wedding so that you can fully experience this. It rained for most of my stay but this didn’t affect the experience in anyway. I’ve seen people complaining about having to go ‘all the way’ back up to the castle if they wanted a sitting room area to hang out in. I don’t know why this would be a problem as it took me about 3 minutes to walk between the castle and lodge, and they run a shuttle if you’d prefer. The castle has plenty of space to sit and read or to have a drink so this really was not an issue. I’ve never felt so well taken care of. The staff were all lovely, helpful and super attentive. It was pure luxury in every way and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I can’t fault anything and I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

We stayed over night at Castle Leslie and enjoyed a superb dinner at Snaffles Restaurant. From check in to departure we had an amazing experience at Castle Leslie. The check in was seamless and we were made very welcome. We had a a walk in the beautifully maintained grounds and an informal visit to the main house. The dinner in Snaffles Restaurant lived up to its well deserved reputation, both for food and service. The food was superb and the service was what it should be!! We felt relaxed and cared for by the well trained staff. Breakfast in the morning was of the same high standard and we left Castle Leslie with a promise to return soon!!

On our 16 day trip around Ireland we stayed at several castle type hotels. Most were amazing Except Castle Leslie it was Definitely the lowest in customer service and cleanliness. But the most expensive in price. We stayed in the muse - it was moldy and the carpet was old,musty and dirty. The muse is located in the back of the estate. Our room was a disappointment The bathrooms were not clean They needed repainting too. The kitchen tile was dirty. Furniture uncomfortable This area was supposed to be secured by a security gate but the gate stayed open to anyone ! We felt unsafe. We had to call security one afternoon for a suspicious car and activity!! By our rental BMW Also, We lost power one might and tried to contact the desk - they never answered Our family sat in the dark for over an hour. Ne evening, We went to see the castle on the estate and were not greeted by reception- they were rude. . We ate at Conner’s bar two nights and service was a disappointment! The employees were not friendly or engaging . . Room service does not exist after 9 and the village offers nothing ! Definitely the worse stay we had on our vacation I would not recommend castle Leslie. The Lake Hotel or Ballyseede is a far better option.

Myself and my daughter visited Castle Leslie for the day. Our experience was excellent, but the food was a big disappointment. We had the two course set lunch in Conor's Bar, where I had the cod cheeks and my daughter had the duck wings. While the duck wings were lovely, my cod cheeks were both cold and bland. Both myself and my daughter ordered the "Mushroom Burger". It was hugely disappointing for a vegetarian option. The mushrooms were tasteless and minimal, the burger tasted as though it had come from a freezer from Lidl. Beautiful grounds, highlt trained staff, but the food falls way short of the standard :(

The staff are very friendly and relaxed. The facilities are 5 star. The Buildings are lovely and full of character. The walks are very well signposted and lovely. The food is great especially as they cook the full Irish breakfast individually as you order it. We appreciate the charitable activities and support for other charities and businesses.

We stayed in the Old Stable Mews, using package Girls Getaway. Warm welcome, great food, very comfortable accommodation, very professional crew in the Victorian Spa... With outstanding weather allowing a lot of walking we felt really pampered.
