Absolutely amazing place! The most beautiful one I have ever visited in Italy. This is something special and magical. ♥️ Make sure to add it to your bucket list 🕊️ People are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and the pool a 10/10.

We spent 2 wonderful days in this amazing location. Everything was perfect above all expectations! The entire staff was excellent, restaurant and SPA 5*L quality. We will definitely come back in August to enjoy this wonderful Castello again!

Excellent hotel, great service, courteous staffs. Very happy with the management. Location of this hotel is amazing. Views are spectacular through rooms. Uninterrupted view of mountains and valleys. Nature beauty is at its peak. Room was super comfortable, spacious, luxurious, neat and clean. The taste of food was so good. It's a great place to enjoy your holidays. Looking forward to visit this beautiful place again.

We stayed with my husband during Easter at Castello di Velona. We had a great time; the hotel is beautiful, and we were warmly welcomed. I especially appreciated the assistance of the concierge Natasha. She was very kind and helpful in arranging wine tastings, transfers, and truffle hunting. Our UNESCO Junior room is fabulous with its stunning view of the Val D'Orcia. The Settimo Senso restaurant is excellent. The chef is brilliant; he delighted us with his excellent cuisine. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this property.

This year we decided to spend our Easter in Tuscany. Last February we were visiting Montalcino, when we stopped by at Castello di Velona by chance. The castle was closed because of the renovations of the thermal pools, but Roxana, a real nice and kind lady from the hotel, allowed us in and let us visit the castle. We were there the whole morning, sipping coffee while she was telling us the story of the castle and all the services offered at the premises. She told us about the immense restoration work that the castle faced many years ago and we were amazed by her way of talking with full love and dedication. She was a real host! Once we finished touring the castle, we fell in love with it so quickly that we decided to book for our Easter holiday. We arrived this past Saturday and spent two days there. We felt as if we were in a fairy tale. Our room was a UNESCO room, very quiet and with a spectacular view. It was finely furnished and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. In the evening we dined at Settimo Senso Restaurant. We were welcomed by Mrs. Mirela, who was very professional and described to us all the dishes we ordered. The wine, Brunello di Montalcino, strictly of their production, was truly divine and so was the sommelier. In addition to having appreciated and savoured everything, we complimented for the impeccable service as well as the available and kind staff, including Alessandro, the F&B manager of the castle. Yesterday we spent a beautiful day at the thermal Spa and Dr. Paolo Bruno explained to us all the benefits of the thermal waters which come from a depth of 250 meters. We then had lunch by the pool and even there the service was impeccable. Food was great and well served. Today we will leave sadly and we are already thinking of coming back in July. We thank all the staff so much for letting us have a wonderful stay. We discovered this magnificent castle and it will always be in our hearts. Special thanks to Alessandro Sapia, the hotel manager. We met not only a professional, but also a very kind and nice person. We will be back soon!

The place is super kitschy. The food is bad and unreasonably expensive for the quality. The place was almost empty, after 30 minutes bread came and food arrived after 50 minutes and was cold, small and not tasty. They didn’t even ask if wanted wine. Stay away from this place.

We booked 3 days in July in this splendid property. We immediately understood the professionalism of their team. Wonderful people. Very quick. With 2 emails they fulfilled all our requests. They also informed us that they have had the Thermal SPA certification for 10 days. This is truly fantastic and we will certainly make use of this wonderful SPA which must be fantastic when viewed on the site. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care and professionalism of the very talented Mrs. Roxana. She was kind to us. We can't wait to meet you and spend some good time at Castello Di Velona.
