Our stay at Merigge Agriturismo was perfect. We stayed in Room 105, which was a room on the second floor over the breakfast area. It has a separate seating area and a spacious balcony/patio with a gorgeous view. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Filippo and then the owner, Raffaele, who gave us a short tour of the property. We had a delicious breakfast each morning, prepared “with love” and served with a smile by Carlotta. We were well taken care of there and highly recommend this property for your stay in Tuscany.

This location looked like Paradise online and we soon found out that it truly IS! Not only is Merigge tucked away in a peaceful, serene beautiful location but Rafaela the owner, Ricarrdo our concierge, and Carlotta, our chef were amazing people and wonderful hosts. The moment we stepped onto their property we felt like family. Ricarrdo met us at our car to help with luggage and show us to our room and Rafaela came out to greet and welcome us. Each morning we heard birds chirping outside the front French doors of our bedroom and the large bathroom window that overlooked lavender fields. We felt like we were tucked into pages of a romantic storybook. Ricardo took care of our every need for wine tastings and restaurants and information on the areas around us. Each morning we were served a fresh farm to table delicious breakfast prepared by our amazing chef, Carlotta. One day we ate lunch on the property and I had the best gnocci I've ever tasted or ever will for that matter. We befriended Carlotta and we're able to have great conversations with her when she was freed up from the kitchen. We fell in love with her so much so that I wanted to put her in my suitcase and bring her home with us to cook for us and be my friend! She most definitely enhanced our experience at Merigge. As far as accommodations go, the bathroom was large, bright and airy with the best shower ever and the room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved having a private patio just outside the French doors of our room that overlooked the lush property and beautiful pool. If you're looking for an experience in the countryside of Italy that truly represents itself honestly on the website...where the skies are blue, air is fresh and you wake each morning to the serenity of this beautiful country ... then fill your belly with amazing food and cappuccinos made by a chef that welcomes you to her kitchen with a huge smile on her face ... where you're appreciated by the owner of this gorgeous property and his team ... this is the place! If my husband and I could give Agriturismo Merigge 10 stars, we would.

Merigge was a peaceful paradise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The views from the pool area made it easy to enjoy the scenic Tuscan countryside. This is exactly the place to stay if you want an escape in a beautiful area! You won’t be disappointed.

This is a piece of heaven in Tuscany. The hotel was amazing and so beautiful, youll be lucky finding this gem. The attention of Raffaele, Tiziana and Riccardo were super friendly and make you feel a warm welcome. Raffaele attention to detail, make your stay feels impacable.

Gorgeous setting a short distance from Montepulchiano. A true farm, with lavender fields and views of vineyards. Our communication and check in was seamless and professional. Our room (102) was very nice and quiet, and had a sweet little patio and view of the pool. I have never seen such beautiful roses in my life! We only stayed two nights but definitely recommend!

BREATHTAKING and great location. Beautiful view of Montepulciano. Customer service is unmatched. They booked us a wine tasting and dinner reservations which made everything so relaxing. And the food we had for breakfast and lunch was some of the best we had in Italy! All made from scratch and sourced from the farm or locally. We also took the cooking class and it was a memory we will cherish forever ♥️

Agriturismo Merigge is a perfect destination for a Tuscan countryside vacation. Conveniently located 12-15 min drive outside montepulciano, yet off the beaten path. Gorgeous property with rooms and cottages amidst lavender fields, vegetable gardens, a stunning view of Montepulciano, and a beautiful pool. With only 6 rooms, you can be assured of personalized attention from Rafael and his team. Many thanks particularly to Riccardo for always being available to answer questions and help out.

The place was awesome. My top choice of all the places we stayed. Extremely clean and fresh. Raffaele went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and even booked us a wine tour that was out of this world and a restaurant that was easily five star.
