This Hotel turned out to be the best hotel experience we have had! The decor of the hotel is just amazing, the most beautiful woodwork I have ever seen, with other areas being beautifully modern! From the minute we walked in we were taken care of! Our car, our bags and check in were so easy, front desk was excellent! The room was immaculate, very comfortable and a beautiful high end bathroom! The gym is all new equipment and perfect for a workout! Bar George is a great lively bar! We had brunch and lunch in the Bar during our stay and it was delicious! We also ate at the Restaurant and it was an amazing dining experience! They just don't make French food like this anymore!! HUGE compliments to the kitchen!! There was not one staff member that wasn't helpful and so pleasant!! My husband and I agreed that we would go back to Montreal just to stay in this hotel and to dine here again!!

Before departure, there were few reviews of the hotel. I checked in with doubt and entered the lobby from the old-fashioned high-end feeling at the gate. Although it is not like the luxurious lobby of some big-name chain hotels, the small and exquisite lobby of Burks instantly attracted people. After checking in smoothly, I went to the room. Although I chose the most ordinary room, I was attracted by the elegant and simple decoration and supplies. The color is mainly elegant in white, gray, and black. There are Nestle coffee machines and JBL in the room. Bluetooth audio and other small equipment, toilet equipment is also very high-end, also has slippers rare in Canadian hotels. Bedding feels particularly comfortable, and is more comfortable than Fairmont's. The hotel is located in the most lively area of Canada. Turn left and then turn left to the commercial street. There is lesuire shopping mall diagonally opposite. There are western food such as five guys and McDonalds. 20 minutes, observation platform observation360 is in the building behind the hotel. The hotel service is also very good, the doorman and front desk manager are very friendly, really pushing this one

The CBC booked this hotel for my wife and I during our stay in Montreal. It was during the Jazz Festival, Cirque in the streets, and a great deal of other happenings. The hotel staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The food (especially breakfast) was top notched and reasonably priced. The rooms are more on a European level/style, but the rainshower was great. Would high recommend this hotel.

The location is close to the hwy so it's great when you want to go out. Fee amenities are close by like gas station, bank well at least the one I bank with and a fast food restaurant. The reception was nice but there is one thing he did that put me off; he sneezed and blower his nose but didn't sanitized after before touching my IDs. This is why I took a one star off. Also the place was neat just few black spots in the bath tub. My stay was relatively short. It was a one night and I got to the hotel past 12 midnight, then out by 10:15am. Overall, it's a great hotel and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Disappointing. The hotel amenities state that there is a 24 hour free airport shuttle bus, it does not run 24 hours. We had to pay for a taxi back to the airport. There was a cold water dispenser with lemons in the lobby but it was empty. A coffee machine was provided in the room, however, of the 3 coffee pods one was used and only thin plastic cold beverage cups were provided. The room was big, shows signs of wear but the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel is a typical airport hotel, not much going on.

We brought our daughter to start her uni life to Montreal. We stayed in a not-yet renovated room for four nights and then extended two more nights in a renovation room. On top of the previous comments ”The location of the hotel is just by the side of the train station. It is located a walkable distance to the down towns and lots of restaurants nearby. It takes around a 30 minute walk to Old Montreal, or a Uber drive of around 20 CADs. The swimming pool and the Jacuzzi is the main attraction. The best time to use it is the morning time which is less crowded than the evening and night. The breakfast is provided complimentary at the executive lounge. The service there is extremely good. The male waiter is committed and professional, who makes the day of every customer.” I would like to add that the view of the room is nice. The new room faces the internal garden with mandarin ducks, trees and small rivers, which is refreshing. Moreover, the staff is very helpful. We needed to print some documents urgently but the printer did not work. The staff at the front desk immediately asked us to forward the documents to them and printed them for us within minutes. The sensitivity and responsivity are highly appreciated. The only issue is the rooms adjacent were still renovating, thus the smell of paints were spread to our room too. Anyway, if you are bringing your kids to uni, this is a very good choice for the pre-uni life for the family.

Location is perfect ! Within walking distance from most things and literally connected to/in the mall. Service it was decent ! I remember them trying charge us just to check-in like 30 minutes early. Probably standard and still annoying lol however they held our bags for free ! Cleanliness was on point, but they did seem stingy with me asking for extra towels lol Amenities. The pool had too many children; wish they had specific times children are allowed to go and specific times adults are. I don’t think I used anything else. Overall, these are minor complaints ! I wholeheartedly recommend and I would def stay there again ! And my mom agrees !

On the negative side first because that’s what you’re here for…The double room was a bit small but fine for a solo traveller like myself. The breakfast bar left something to be desired. I wish the rooms were bigger and the breakfast more expansive (there were no gluten free options). So I couldn’t even have a coffee and toast for breakfast. Literally fruit, juice, yoghurt and boiled eggs. They did have Rice Krispies tho' and I personally can tolerate that. Some others can’t. And the milk is whole milk. No options for skim. That was disgusting on my Rice Krispies. Maybe the selection is better in the summer season… But on the positive side….the hotel is located in the center of all the festival action, Place des Arts,Maison Symphonique, restaurants. You cannot beat that unless you want to pay double. The room was cheaper than most AirBnB rooms available in the same area. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. The A/C and heating systems allow you to easily set your temperature and get the room cozy, especially important for Montréal in February or to cool your room in July. Anyway, I’ll be returning. The scene is too good in Montréal to keep me away and this hotel is a great budget choice. You can buy breakfast locally if it's a problem for you

We stayed one week in this Courtyard by Marriott (Oct 2022). Located right on Rene Levesques Boulevard (former Dorchester). Walking distance to many sights. Our check in was very fast, we walked up, we were greeted by friendly young man and we made our way to the room, all within 10 mins. Our room was on the 10 floor and we had a partial view looking NE towards the Notre Dame Basilica. The gym is on the 11th floor and I must say that on occasion I could hear the weights being dropped on the floor by some inconsiderate simpleton. There IS a sign in the gym that mentions that this should be avoided. Nice gym great machines and great view. Our room featured a king bed and had good lighting, pillows, large bathroom, shampoo, soap and conditioner. The sink did have a slight ”bad smell” however. Apart from the rare noise from the gym, the room was very well insulated for sound. It was the most sound insulated room I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean. The mini fridge had a couple bottles of water. The room also had a ”pods” style coffee machine which we enjoyed all week. The TV had a wide selection of channels in both French and English and the screen can be tilted to face the bed. A Metro station (Place D'Armes) is nearby and the hotel has underground parking on location for those with a car, I am not sure what it costs. We ate one dinner in the restaurant in the lobby. The food was of good quality and very tasty but a bit overpriced. Conveniently, there is a large IGA grocery store one block up in the Complexe Dejardins where you will also find a pharmacy and other shops. The 747 airport bus stop is located across the street on Rene Levesque (heading TO the airport). The bus costs 11 dollars in COINS only. At about 10am our bus trip to the airport took about 30-35 mins. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly. They all spoke both French and English. We would stay here again on our next trip to Montreal but I must say, I found it a bit expensive $$$$$$$. Happy Travels.

We stayed at the Hotel Place d'Armes for four nights. We stayed there primarily because of its location. We were not disappointed. Right in the heart of Old Montreal, the hotel was perfectly located (across from the plaza of the same name) for what we wanted to see and do. In addition, it had a reputation as a nice upscale hotel that treated its guests well. We weren't disappointed there either. When we arrived by cab, Carl greeted us at the door, relieved us of luggage, and ushered us to Jolemie who checked us in and assigned us to a room (in building two) that was tastefully and comfortably furnished. She answered all our questions in a friendly manner and gave us tips about the area. Carl brought bags to our room, made sure we saw all the features, explained how things worked, and then left us to relax. The next day we met Sam, another staff member in the reception area, who answered more of our questions, gave suggestions about where to go, what to do, where to eat. These three individuals set the tone for our stay and made it a positive experience. But, let's be honest, no hotel is perfect so we did encounter a couple of glitches I should note. My wife and I are tea drinkers. While there was a coffeemaker in the room, there was no tea kettle or tea. There was coffee in the lobby, but there too, there was no hot water. Okay, we can live with that; we just went to a local cafe, but that meant going out a little earlier than we wanted to. The other thing was a bit strange. Saturday morning we asked the concierge to please make dinner reservations for us a particular popular restaurant. A few hours later we got a call from him that the restaurant was all booked up. But we went to the restaurant anyway thinking that there's always room for walk-ins even if we have to wait. We were right. There was room. And we didn't have to wait. We were seated immediately and enjoyed our meal. But, we have to ask, why wouldn't a knowledgeable concierge suggest just walking in. No matter. We still like Hotel Place d'Armes and would recommend it. Thank you Jolemie, Carl, and Sam..

What a cool place with great service, A lot of choice for hotels in Montreal, we went for this AC Hotel because we tried an AC in Barcelona and it was AMAZING! So there we go, we arrive with my husband in this gorgeous reception floor with high ceiling and cool vibes for design and music. You can tell its new! The staff was so friendly, they gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants but also activities (like the Scandinave spa, Pointe a Callieres museum, roof top bar in the old port) You can walk to everything, there is even a mall across the street with a pharmacy, Dollorama and a SAQ. We got this cool design with our King bed of what the staff called an 'open concept' room, we loved it because it had a gorgeous view of the Old Montreal. Also, I loved that the mirror and the sink were in the center of room, so different and perfect natural light through the room to look at my outfitting before going out... On the 12th floor, the best pool in town... I am sure of that! I probably wont be returning soon to Montreal soon but I will come back to this hotel for sure, mostly because of the staff and modern design! There isn't anything near here except for the airport but it was nice being close to the airport for a good night's rest before flying out. The hotel would also be good for a business trip if you have to stay in the area and have a car. It does take about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city from this hotel. The check in was quick and the hotel smells and looks clean. The room we stayed in needed a little help as the toilet paper holder was missing it's bar, the mini fridge was missing and the screw holes were quite visible and the some towels were quite frayed and in need of some replacement. The pool and hot tub were at a good temperature and there was lots of natural light in the area. There is a bathroom nearby which you can change in and the hotels are in the pool area. The TVs are pretty new but we couldn't find anything to watch so I would recommend bringing your own HDMI adapter. The hotel could do a better job for changeover of hotel rooms as the clocks showed the wrong time and the one went off unexpectedly at 6 am. There are better options in the city but if you are just going through Montreal or need a place near the airport this is a decent option for that and there is lots of parking.

Enjoyed my stay at the Delta. The location is central and we walked everywhere including to the McGill Convocation. Check in was quick and there are many lounge areas. The rooms, bathroom, bedding and towels were clean and the bed was super comfortable with a selection of pillow types (Typical of the Marriott hotels that I have stayed in). The food in the restaurant is very good. Breakfast is better in the restaurant. I ordered breakfast through room-service for breakfast and did not enjoy the Starbuck selection; and the coffee was cold. I do not know if this is typical or because of Covid, the level of services was limited. The view depends on which room you are in. Loved the view of Mount Royal from the room my siste and husband were in. My view was of Rue Presiden Kennedy. Overall a great stay.

I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

One shower and one toilet were shared. The inside of the capsule is clean. It was late at night, so I didn't meet many people, so I didn't have time to take a shower, but if I did, I would have to wait a long time. Also, there was no one at the entrance, so I called the staff to check in, but I didn't know how to check out, so I left the key. It's a walk from the bus stop, so if you have a lot of luggage, it might be difficult on slopes and stairs.

Ce qui rend ce lieu encore plus spécial, c'est son ambiance paisible, offrant un havre de tranquillité au milieu de l'effervescence urbaine. L'un des aspects les plus remarquables de notre séjour a été l'accueil chaleureux et l'attitude accommodante du monsieur responsable à la réception. Sa gentillesse et sa volonté d'aller au-delà pour s'assurer que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin ont considérablement contribué à rendre notre expérience des plus agréables. Voyageant en famille avec 3 adultes et 3 enfants, il était essentiel pour nous d'avoir suffisamment d'espace. L'hôtel 402 a brillamment répondu à nos besoins en nous proposant 2 grandes chambres dotées de grands lits, ce qui a permis à chacun d'avoir un espace confortable pour se reposer après des journées bien remplies à explorer la ville. De plus, ces chambres étaient offertes à un prix vraiment raisonnable, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus satisfaisant. En résumé, notre expérience à l'hôtel 402 de Montréal a été exceptionnelle sous tous rapports. I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

Beautiful hotel! I loved our room with casement windows that opened inward. Spacious, and well appointed. Desk, small table and chairs, fridge, robes and slippers. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows and big plush towels. The lobby smelled divine, and when I asked, was told it was the same scent as that of the toiletries in the room. This is the only hotel we have been to in the last 3 years that had full maid service every day, and we don’t stay at inexpensive hotels. Walk to the old port was right across the street. Valet parking is 38$c a day, but worth it to avoid the hassle. We had a riverfront view, and while it wasn’t perfect, one of the quays is a parking garage which spoiled the view a bit, it was still lovely, especially in the evening when you could look out at the La Grande Roue and watch it change color. This place was the best part of our Montreal stay.

The hotel is very new, the location is good, it is convenient to go anywhere, the following is Chinatown. The management was a bit confusing. I found that there was no hair dryer in the room. I told the front desk that it was sent. I don’t know if it was this reason. After leaving, I was deducted 86 Canadian dollars. I didn’t refund for a long time. After that, I asked Trip.com customer service to ask, saying that I deducted it by mistake. It took more than a week to return. By the way, praise Trip.com's service, warm and efficient, praise!

First, Hilton-branded hotels are my chain of choice and I am also a Diamond Member and have been for years. We chose the Hampton Inn Downtown Montreal due to its location; close to Old Montreal, Chinatown, the shopping district, and restaurants. At check-in the customary ”thank you for being an Honors Member” was not mentioned though not a big deal! As a Diamond Member I asked about the comp upgrade if available. I was told by the agent at the front desk that there were no upgrades available and that I was in a room with a ”couch”! Not sure what the 1 ½ person couch would do but whatever. We arrived at our room, our small room. We were on a 7-day trip to cold climates with outdoor events therefore we had a lot of baggage - nowhere to put it all in the room. From the room, I dialed ”0” and asked if we could please be assigned another room. The person on the phone said ”yes, of course, we will put you in a suite!”. (See above, front desk agent, no suites available.) We arrived to a large suite with great amenities - full kitchen and appliances, corner room, lots of room, etc. The downside, the floors were a mess - I mentioned it but never heard back. We used a damp towel and cleaned the entire room ourselves. Oh, the towel, it wasn't healthy looking after that. The runner carpets at the bed were no better. I door parking was great BUT it's where all the ********* smokers gather though there's no indoor smoking in any of the building. BTW - note that ********* is TOTALLY legal in Canada so that was not the issue - smoking inside was the issue. So, great location, nice property, attention to detail and Hilton Honors members is very lacking and a front desk agent who got caught in a little lie!

Hotel is right in the Chinatown district of Montreal. Parking is below, while small and tight, there is room. There is a small daily fee to park, typical of large cities. I went to the second floor to check in and was given my room on the higher floor. It’s typical for a downtown Holiday Inn. Room clean, nice view of the city, furnace worked well, sadly weak shower pressure found so often. Because I am a Platinum IHG member, breakfast was included both days I stayed. It was typical American despite being in a Chinese themed hotel due to location. Buffet style and filling. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a large amount of Canadian coins I had collected over the years in the States, and they were happy to convert to bills and loonies/toonies. That helped with small purchases in the city. Checkout went well. I had no issues with safety despite coming back late at night.

On the negative side first because that’s what you’re here for…The double room was a bit small but fine for a solo traveller like myself. The breakfast bar left something to be desired. I wish the rooms were bigger and the breakfast more expansive (there were no gluten free options). So I couldn’t even have a coffee and toast for breakfast. Literally fruit, juice, yoghurt and boiled eggs. They did have Rice Krispies tho' and I personally can tolerate that. Some others can’t. And the milk is whole milk. No options for skim. That was disgusting on my Rice Krispies. Maybe the selection is better in the summer season… But on the positive side….the hotel is located in the center of all the festival action, Place des Arts,Maison Symphonique, restaurants. You cannot beat that unless you want to pay double. The room was cheaper than most AirBnB rooms available in the same area. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. The A/C and heating systems allow you to easily set your temperature and get the room cozy, especially important for Montréal in February or to cool your room in July. Anyway, I’ll be returning. The scene is too good in Montréal to keep me away and this hotel is a great budget choice. You can buy breakfast locally if it's a problem for you

Friendly staff and location...close to old montreal and metro. High floor so nice view of chinatown. Only drawback, also near redlight district and homeless shelter. Not a hotel issue but be aware, little seedy at night. We also liked our room. When we entered room, impressed with modern look but as the days went by, noted hinges off closet door, lack of good task lighting and sluggish drain in bathroom. Not big issue but property needs a little TLC. FYI - told by front desk that hotel recently reopened lounge for breakfast. I booked months ago when no breakfast option was available. When asked about breakfast, was denied and told could not eat at hotel since breakfast option was not included when i booked reservation. So asked how much for breakfast option and was told can't eat at hotel. Was surprised at response, especially since customer service and experience is key in hospitality business. So ate (and spent my money) elsewhere.

Two weeks ago my wife Pat and I stayed at Hotel Bonaparte for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is just lovely and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Throughout the weekend the reception staff answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions which really enhanced our stay. Special mention to Jason and Amy who could not have been more helpful and pleasant, as well as the gentleman Saturday morning (can't remember his name) who gave us maps of the city and took the time to point out various places of interest for our walk around the city as well as some excellent restaurant recommendations. The Hotel rooms are attractive and perfectly clean. Our room, facing the courtyard, was very quiet with a lovely view of the Notre Dame Basilica. The Hotel Restaurant is excellent; a lovely breakfast each morning (included in the room rate) and a lovely dinner one evening. The restaurant wait staff is excellent and very friendly. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the Hotel Bonaparte is the perfect place to stay for a lovely visit.

We stayed at the Hotel Place d'Armes for four nights. We stayed there primarily because of its location. We were not disappointed. Right in the heart of Old Montreal, the hotel was perfectly located (across from the plaza of the same name) for what we wanted to see and do. In addition, it had a reputation as a nice upscale hotel that treated its guests well. We weren't disappointed there either. When we arrived by cab, Carl greeted us at the door, relieved us of luggage, and ushered us to Jolemie who checked us in and assigned us to a room (in building two) that was tastefully and comfortably furnished. She answered all our questions in a friendly manner and gave us tips about the area. Carl brought bags to our room, made sure we saw all the features, explained how things worked, and then left us to relax. The next day we met Sam, another staff member in the reception area, who answered more of our questions, gave suggestions about where to go, what to do, where to eat. These three individuals set the tone for our stay and made it a positive experience. But, let's be honest, no hotel is perfect so we did encounter a couple of glitches I should note. My wife and I are tea drinkers. While there was a coffeemaker in the room, there was no tea kettle or tea. There was coffee in the lobby, but there too, there was no hot water. Okay, we can live with that; we just went to a local cafe, but that meant going out a little earlier than we wanted to. The other thing was a bit strange. Saturday morning we asked the concierge to please make dinner reservations for us a particular popular restaurant. A few hours later we got a call from him that the restaurant was all booked up. But we went to the restaurant anyway thinking that there's always room for walk-ins even if we have to wait. We were right. There was room. And we didn't have to wait. We were seated immediately and enjoyed our meal. But, we have to ask, why wouldn't a knowledgeable concierge suggest just walking in. No matter. We still like Hotel Place d'Armes and would recommend it. Thank you Jolemie, Carl, and Sam..

There was a supermarket nearby, and the kitchen could be used, so it was nice to cook. The mattress is not good enough for the bed. The room was cold. It is a pity that there was no locker to hold large luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful. Towels and hair dryers were lent out. There was no problem with Wi-Fi.

The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel is a perfect hotel in Montreal. Excellent montain view and quiet environment. I think I will back to stay this hotel next vacation. Love this hotel, so write a review. The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!

I went around a large circle for the first time, and then asked the hotel front desk to park for you. The room is relatively comfortable, the bedding is good, and European style. This hotel in Old Montreal has a wonderful location, so close to great restaurants like the new Moishe’s Steak House, and Holder. It is small, clean and comfortable with lots of large windows. The reception and breakfast area is large and light. The Loft rooms are very comfortable and spacious with Molton Brown amenities and a Nespresso machine. The large windows open and have pretty flower boxes. The layout of an ‘open concept’ bathroom and closets might not appeal to all, but we liked the quirkiness. The decor could stand some updating. For example, the two occasional chairs in our room were quite worn and the hallway carpet stained. Our housekeeper was excellent. Reception staff were generally accommodating. The food at breakfast was excellent but the service could stand improvement. One morning it took 30 minutes to get a cappuccino. In fairness, another morning’s room service breakfast arrived promptly. But another morning we seemed to be forgotten. This may be a post-Covid staffing problem however. At check out, a detailed statement of daily charges and credit certificates was lacking. When we arrived, we asked for additional pillows but none were available initially. We got one the second night after the other woman who had it checked out! We would probably stay here again if these small but irritating issues were fixed.
