Masterpiece Hotel

From the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile. Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning. Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

We were looking forward to an overnight stay-cation in Morro Bay and Masterpiece Hotel did not disappoint. Thought not near the water, the location was quiet and very clean. We were pleased to see extra electric outlets for charging, which is so necessary with the multiple electronic devices we carry these days. In particular, the front desk was extremely helpful with everything that we asked for. The continental breakfast also included fresh made waffles, good coffee, fresh fruit selection and yogurt. It was more than the description implied. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. It looks like the property has been updated and made for a comfortable stay. Not luxury bet well worth the cost. Thank you to the staff and definitely recommend for the price, location and good clean hotel.

Stay away from room 104!!! It's a nigh**are!! The room is literally next to the breakfast room, so get ready to wake up at 7 am by all the noises from kids in the breakfast room.. at night time you won't be able to sleep because of the noisy guests upstairs!! Stay away!

Loved looking at all of the art on the way to the room. Also loved how convenient the location was to downtown Morro Bay.

It was a great stay. I love the wine for an hour. We enjoyed it one day out of our two nights stay. Breakfast was decent. The only complaint that I have is we had a couch in our room. I laid on it just to close my eyes for a moment and I got bit on my butt area. There is about 10 little bites on me. Not sure what that’s about but I still have it. And it’s red and itches . Might want to get rid of that couch

Wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable bed, all the amenities, a microwave, fridge, and coffee. Free breakfast was nice, and free wine for an hour in the evening! Clean, quiet, friendly staff, close to the beach. A hidden gem!

Very nice little hotel. Parking is available -- but tight. Did not know there was no elevator until we checked in --- can not stay there again unless given a first floor room. Breakfast had limited items. Worth the price.

Super accessible to a lot of the tourist spots in the area. The room was clean and smelled really good. The front desk lady was very sweet and nice. Clean bathroom and full of amenities such as fridge and microwave. Balcony was nice. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.

Loved the property because of the cleanliness, victorian decor. Complimentry wine hour and complimentry lite breakfast. Over all very pleasent stay
