Sweeney Apartments & Rooms

I stayed with my daughter, my friend and her daughter. The room was very spacious, and tastefully decorated! It was equipped with a small kitchen and dining facilities, although there was no cooker, we well well prepared with a light meal with the use of a microwave. There was complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. And the shower was a warm welcome after our travels. Our girls stayed in the pull out sofa bed while we, the adults slept in the very comfortable extra large king! Donna was very welcoming and allowed us to check in early, she took the time to check in on us to see how our stay was and booked us a taxi to our music venue we had booked. Delighted to have stayed here! I will definitely book again !!

We arrived and had very clear instructions on how to get into the building, how to get into our room and the room number. I was a little disappointed on the size of the room, I was expecting something a little bigger, everything at the bottom of the bed felt quite squashed. When we entered the building there was some shouting and screaming from other rooms, this went on for quite a while after we arrived. This put me off the stay immediately... The bed was comfortable and everything you need for a SHORT couple of days stay was supplied. Through the evening there was lots of banging and doors slamming that you could hear over the tv. Then at 1.10am we were woken up by people talking in the car park that were entering the building. They were being vey loud. So would I recommend the Sweeny apartments, NO! I've given a four star because the interior is very nice and very clean. However I couldn't give a five star as it was far to noisy for us.

It was our first time in a self-service hotel like this one. Everything worked out wonderfully. Ongoing communication and very easy to use/understand. The room was also great and well equipped. It felt like living in a small apartment. That was more than enough for our trip. We would do it again.

Nice, comfortable room in a convenient location with everything we needed for our one night stay. Good value for money and it was handy having a free car park. Easy contactless check in and the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend one of the larger rooms for a longer stay

Superb property,centrally located 5 minutes walk to centre,plenty of parking available ,exceptionally clean,fantastic finish to decor. Rang customer service for vat receipt received before finished call. Definitely stay next time in area

We were happy that there was a kettle and teabags. Appreciated the bottled water too. Clean and comfortable. Although a small bottle shower lotion there was no shelf in the shower or soap. We enjoyed our stay and slept well. The location was handy for the train station. We thought having to leave at 10am was a little early and would have preferred 11am leaving time.

Arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow. Really surprised by the room. Spacious, modern and very clean. Bed very comfy ans the shower was great. Although Motherwell might not your holiday choice this place has everything you need to stay away from home. Would defo recommend.

Very clean, well situated, value for money, just a really nice apartment, I would recommend staying here , as well as ample safe parking on site

Absolutely beautiful room with lots of lovely touches. Nice clean room with high quality fixings and finished very nicely. Fridge and microwave and kitchen utensils to boot! Excellent hot powerful shower and a very comfy bed. A very pleasant stay.
