Beautiful, modern and very chic hotel. Excellent restaurant for breakfast or dinner. The quality of ingredients is superb. Service is exceptional as well.

Overall, the hotel is very nice with a veranda , where food and drinks are served, that overlooks the rolling hills with many vineyards. It is a beautiful view. Their wine is good and the winery is on site for a fun tour. It is a nice hotel with great staff who are very helpful. The walk isn’t far to take the shuttle up to Motovun Old Town with great view, shops and restaurants. The restaurant with ‘Mondo’ in its name is excellent! Breakfast was good with fruit, oa**eal/cereal, meats, eggs, bread and other options. When thunderstorms hit, they are violent and something to take cover from as the rain is torrential. Wow! As far as the rooms, our group commented on the many quirks like mirrors above the beds, stools needed to reach the beds and ours was the most unique and not for us. I did select it as an upgrade, but it was a mistake. The bed is three feet off the floor with a complete leather siding. While you can roll out of it, the switches aren’t easy to access or the window coverings at the back. It says an amenity is a safe, there wasn’t one. Plus it had some traffic noise so request a room overlooking the vineyard.

We came here to enjoy the sunset over a glass of wine, but we got much more than that. It was a 5 star sunset experience at the marvelous terrace, accompanied with good food and wine, and very professional staff. The waiter was pleasant and educated about their wines, and he recommended a bottle of Rovigno paired with a cold platter. We recommend you try the homemade prosciutto. You will not regret it. We will definitely come back and try other dishes and wines. 🍷🌅

This hotel is a beautiful combination of and old restored building with contemporary architecture for the new parts and winery. The views from the back of the hotel are beautiful and there is a wonderful lawn and pool area. The wine tasting was so informative, well done, nice wines, great facilities. We had dinner and breakfast that were both delicious. We found the rooms to be on the small side. Ask for a room that overlooks the back view.

Oct 21st - Sunday 2pm: We arrived (4 of us) to have a glass of wine and a coffee on the wonderful terrace with a marvellous view. The young waitress was very friendly, after we asked her if we could just have a drink at one the tables already having a couvert, she said - no problem. Two minutes after that the gentleman (obviously the chef) came out explaining to us, that this is not possible, that we are "taking away" place for guests wanting to have lunch - but obnoxiously he said -now you are already here so... Fact is, that the whole terrace was empty, only inside there was a group of some 15 people having lunch. But ok - we decided to stay. Unfortunately I went to the wine shop to see which wine we could buy - hearing - accidentally - how he abused her, saying "I lost an excellent tip from Italians, this is not ok". After hearing this comment, we just left. This gentleman came out asking us why and I told him that this is the best way to lose good customers. So far so bad! With this posting, I just want to alert the owner of ths wonderful hotel & winery (by the way we LOVE Roxanich wines!!) Best regards Igor Rup

Lovely location.
Excellent tasting menu in the restaurant with their wine and great staff.
The decor was not my taste but the location outweighs the style.
The bed height was also a challenge!
We decided against the bunk bed but was still tricky 🤔

wow, it was a great pleasure to come here. We are delighted and we are coming back again. Everything is so wonderful. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are extremely clean. the food is superb. There is something for everyone on the menu. 😍😍😍😍

Uniquely located with an a amazing view over the wine valleys as well as the old town of Motovun, and perfect location to discover Istria. Very friendly staff, great design with a twist, well kept place, amazing terras, super practical and spacious underground parking. Nice rooms (though the decor is a bit of an acquired taste), great breakfast buffet, and the à la carte restaurant is excellent, serving local produce. The perfect in house wine offer completes this amazing picture. A really unique experience and highly recommended. We will be back!
