Tui Blue Palm Beach Hammamet

Mon mari et moi avons passé une magnifique semaine à l’hôtel Palm Beach Club. Le personnel est super gentil et serviable . Les chambres sont propres et nous avons bien mangé . Je le recommande

Honestly, in my time of travelling I have not come across such nice and amasing views from such a hotel. Not just this but the food was exceptional at every end of catering. The staff was nothing but helpful at all times and I give my best to them all and wish them all a successful and happy time at tui palm beach hammamet. The week I've spent here has been amazing but I must give props to the staff who have been great with the children we brought along. Got on with all the staff and could not ask for anything better than this experience. Once again thank you to all the staff at the restaurant who always had a smile on their face. Lovely experiance!!

This is now our fourth day here and I’m of mixed opinions. The hotel room is lovely, clean and spacious. However, we paid for a seaview room and on arrival were allocated a bottom floor room in a corner, with a very partial seaview blocked by the unfinished sea breeze restaurant and an area right outside our terrace where games are played. I quickly informed management I’d like to be moved and was relocated to a far better room on the fourth floor with amazing views so thank you for that. The food and drink are passable, but if, like me you enjoy seafood/fish, you will be disappointed as there is very little on offer, that said, you won’t starve. Drinks are okay, your typical all inclusive spirits for cocktails and any premium cocktails need to be paid for separately. My biggest criticism is that, while the pool is lovely and well maintained. The sun lounger area is awful. Dry, dead grass which is covered in a layer of sand. It’s painful to walk on barefoot so advisable to always wear footwear when walking to the bar/pool. It would’ve been so much nicer had it been paved as it usually is. The rest of the hotel seems to be lovely, as is the beach area. And the staff are very polite and friendly. Minor changes and this hotel could be amazing but sadly for us, I don’t think we’d return as this isn’t the usual TUI Blue standard we’ve seen previously.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful week at the Palm Beach. The Palm Beach has only just recently become a Tui Blue Hotel but already they’re well up to the standard you expect. Every inch of the Hotel is spotlessly clean and well presented. The bedrooms are lovely with amazing showers. The food in the main restaurant was varied and excellent. The selection and quality of the deserts was the best we’ve ever experienced in an all-inclusive hotel. We had one meal in the a la carte Culinarium which was delicious. There was a little ongoing building work during our stay, but at no point did it bother us cause us any inconvenience and when completed will only make the hotel even better. None of these things just happen, it’s all due to the efforts of a brilliant team at the Palm Beach. We found everyone friendly and helpful. I don’t really wish to single anyone out but I would like to thank Faicel in the restaurant for looking after us so well and Samirha for her smiling face and keeping our room (404) lovely. Thankyou everyone for making our week with you so good. There is no doubt in our minds that we will return.

Great stay at this newly refurbished hotel. Staff were helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Beach and pool and facilities in general quality. Beach restaurant/cafe was closed which was disappointing and there should be more toilet facilities. All in all a great stay at a great hotel. Thanks we will be back.

This place is amazing. Staff fantastic. Particularly the in house entertainment team. Incase you are unsure what's in your room. Fridge/hairdryer/shaving mirror/ tea & coffee/kettle/beach towels which you can change when you like via reception. Spa robe and slippers. Huge shower (no bath). Reception exchange money. Open 24hrs. Travel agent said they like euro. Not true. Dinar is there preferred currency. Time of travel 1-4 in favor of dinar. You can travel outside this hotel only to the left. Hamamet markets are safe to go to. They are not aloud to make physical contact but do want you to buy.(just ignore). Hope this helps ENJOY. P.S take DEET mosquitoes bits from 4pm xx

This hotel is not really as good has tui think just because you spend a small fortune on it doesn’t make it better sum part of it is good staff are trained well rooms are very good hotel is good overall just not really up to great standard food looks great but on a budget food is often look warm and there is not many people in hotel dining the cheapest drinks are not very good as a flagship I think you can do better and we expect better quality maybe at risk if you follow this plan are you for older customers or a mixture but you have not finished so much more to be done lifts aer no good if you’re in need for health problems access toilets pool beach aer a joke on toilets bye the beach you have to go into hotel there is no room information no hand soap no milk in the room you have to ask maybe you have to stick what you know and leave hotel management to people that have customers care at hart not profit this is not the way forward

OK, so this is an honest review that will hopefully help people make their minds up whether or not Hammamet and the Palm Beach hotel is for them. Pools: 4.5 lovely Cleanliness: 5/5 but strong smell of diesel or petrol coming from surrounding building work; noise never a problem. Rooms: 4.5 - hairdryer rubbish and A/C a bit hit and miss (strange smell from it when on fan mode!) beds comfortable, all new. Food: 3.5 and Ok. Not quite there yet with variety and vegetarian options; good value for money though if you are not too picky. Salad bar the best we have had ever! Labelling of food is again hit and miss. Veggie food next to meat, why? just have separate sections... Staff/people: 5/5 special thanks to Amen, Mimi and Mayer. Very obliging and much fun. Reception staff are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Drinks: 3.5 but you are only paying 3.5 star prices. You always have the option to pay for branded drinks. Wine is fine, what I would call table wine, beer is also OK and I had one or two lovely cocktails and I don't normally bother. Entertainment: Sorry Tui Blue but apart from table tennis/ French Boules (which was a good laugh with French, Italian and British playing) we only dipped into one other thing and were a little disappointed. This needs some serous re-thinking. Entertainment at night, dire but this is just my opinion, others may love it. It was way too cruse ship for me. However, we don't rely on this at all. Spa: looks lovely and good prices but never tried so no comment. Someone did tell us it was lovely. Beach: compared to the Greek islands it it a 3.5. Lots of litter. OK, here goes with visits to the median and market: yes you get a bit of hassle but it was nothing to worry about, just trying to sell you something. never felt threatened and had a good time. Got some lovely olive dishes and a couple of scarves. Location/Area: In my opinion, not good, nothing to do or see worth seeing. We would have loved a tranquil boat trip, (no, not the pirate ship thank you.) However, if you want to be pampered, play table tennis, swim, eat, drink, play boules and just chill in the sunshine then this might be the holiday for you. I like to venture out a bit more. Overall comments: This was a lovely holiday but just not right for us as we like to venture out more and expect much more variety in proper veggie food and local dishes. Is Palm Beach 4 star? Well, I would say not yet but it probably will be very soon if they listen to advice and keep the good staff such as Ahmen, Mimi and Mayer. Helpful: Tea/Coffee/kettle in room; usb plus for phones; safe in room. Airport is awful. Only one place to get anything to eat and it is garbage !!! You will need to take out a loan for some chips and burger and a bottle of water (250 ml) costs £3.60, absolutely disgusting!! I can only hope that when we can take more than 100ml through, we put them all of our business as they are greedy, robbing ... and not nice !

The hotel is beautiful, the food was the best we’ve ever had in an all inclusive, the pastry chef omg the desserts were just out of this world! We used the spa for a couples massage and scrub down which also was great. The waiters serve you on your sunbed and are very tentative, don’t think I ever had an empty glass. The evening entertainment wasn’t great but we are early bedders anyway. They could do better at that tbh. We had an issue with our beds, I specifically booked a double as I hate having two mattresses shoved together, we’re a couple on holiday I want to be close to my other half, well I complained and they changed the mattress to a king size within the hour, you can’t say fairer than that. Beware of a man outside the hotel driving an orange VW Polo car, he approaches when you leave the hotel claiming he works in the hotel and will take you to the market, where he won’t take you back until you’ve purchased something! He tried it with us and even followed us getting out of his car to try again but we had already been pre warned so didn’t entertain him! There isn’t much around the hotel, two shops one to the right and one to the left, fixed prices on everything and the shop keepers are very lovely. We purchased all our gifts for home from them. Would return.
