Hotel Olympic

We absolutely love the Hotel Olympic! From the art-gallery/lobby to the wonderful guest rooms to the elegant breakfast room, you will be thrilled! We have stayed here on three separate trips and continue to be impressed by the hospitality and all that the hotel offers. The location is terrific, too, a short walk to a streetcar stop or only a bit longer to get to the city center. Hans-Sachs-Strasse itself is a gift, variety of dining options as well as shops for browsing/buying. We are happy to recommend this gem of a hotel!

The hotel was a very good last minute reservation. The rooms was quite clean and decent size for a European hotel. Has a lot of movie star theme to it and lots of art around the hotel. The front desk receptionist was very helpful and very informative about the area, nearby, restaurants, and the history of the hotel. Nice touch for last minute visitors. Overall, 4 1/2 stars out of five.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Olympic which is located in a lovely neighborhood just outside Munich city limits. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the Marienplatz. There is local shopping and good restaurants just a few meters away and if you are fortunate to meet Andreas at the front desk he will enthusiastically point you in the direction of your interests. The breakfast room and the food served (young Oscar was a gem) was great. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Munich!

Perfect place to stay during the business trip. It is very clean, silent place to stay. I really enjoyed many paintings and whole interrior overthere. I have visited hotel during the April. It was nice to wake up and hear birds on the inside garden. The stuff superb friendly and helpful. The only thing I have missed there is scrambled eggs :))) Definitelly would like to come back there!

We returned to Hotel Olympic after 2 years, and were welcomed back as if we had been there forever. Large, comfortable room. Well-appointed. It's like living in an art gallery (with different pieces than our last trip). Breakfast was well-stocked, and fresh choices. Location wise, short walk to streetcars, lots of shops and restaurants on same street. We will certainly return!

Hotel alla periferia di Monaco di Baviera e vicino all’uscita dell’Autostrada N 9. Struttura accogliente con staff gentile. Camere molto ampie, arredate in stile minimalista e di recente ristrutturazione. Ho trovato caro il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ristorante dell’Hotel molto buono.

Für uns war vor allem die günstige Lage mitten im Glockenbachviertel entscheidend. Das Hotel ist ziemlich verwinkelt (Denkmalschutz) und ohne Aufzug. Das Zimmer war sauber, etwas laut zur Straße hin (Trambahn). Angenehm ist das große Tageslichtbad. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir fühlten uns wohl und gut aufgehoben. Das Frühstück ist solide, ohne Firlefanz. Parken am Hotel wird bei Reservierung ermöglicht, hat gut funktioniert.

Le poche cose che si salvano di questo hotel sono: l’ubicazione davvero comoda e tranquilla e a pochi passi dal centro città; le ciabattine in materiale riciclato sono davvero una bella idea; infine il wifi che era perfettamente funzionante. Per il resto stendiamo un velo pietoso, a cominciare dall’indisponibilità della receptionist a sistemare un piccolissimo problema coi letti che peraltro, con una piccola mancia alla cameriera del piano, è stato aggiustato in 5 minuti. La stanza di per sé non era sporca, ma la moquette probabilmente era stata posata alcuni decenni fa. Per fortuna, come accennato, la zona era veramente tranquilla, in quanto l’insonorizzazione davvero inesistente. Il frigobar desolatamente vuoto e la cassaforte assente. La colazione più che minimal. I prezzi invece tutt’altro che minimal: 266 Euro a notte una camera doppia.

Charmantes kleines Hotel mit künstlerischem Flair. Wir waren für ein Wochenende in München und wollten zentrumsnah übernachten mit Parkplatz. Unser Zimmer war im 1. OG (27) mit Fenster zum Hof. Beim Zimmer beziehen hatten wir leider die Begegnung mit 2 Nosferatu Spinnen. Begünstigt durch die efeu-berankte Außenfassade. Wir konnten zum Glück noch das Zimmer wechseln (31). Nachteil in der 31: es war kleiner, Bett nur 1,40 breit, Fenster musste zu bleiben (Hof Spinnen) und die Gastronomie darunter hat uns bis nach Mitternacht "unterhalten". Wenn wir ein nächstes Mal buchen, dann nur wenn die Fenster eine Gasche (Moskitonetz) erhalten und das Zimmer nicht über der Gastronomie liegt. Personal sehr nett, hilfsbereit, familiär.
