Hyatt Place Murfreesboro

Nice clean spacious room. Nicer than most hotels I’ve stayed in that allow dogs. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. It was also quiet.

Very clean and pleasant hotel. Friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable.We will stay there again and recommend it to others! The only thing I would like to add is I wish they had microwaves in the room. Thank you Hyatt!

We tried 3 times to unlock the door and finally had to violently strike the handle to get it to open. As soon as we got settled in our room we found the toilet not working. The host offered to send maintenance up but we requested a different room. On checking into our replacement room we found everything working properly but noticed another man’s name on our welcome message on the TV. After a couple hours we noticed this again and found it odd. At 5am we were startled by multiple loud knocks on our door followed by a few soft knocks. By time I got up to check, no one was there. As we were checking out the desk man noticed my name was still on the first room that we vacated. We assumed the 5 am knocks were a case of mistaken identity. The coffee was great, the fruit cups were terrible!

The room is a nice size. Mattress was perfect. Area for pets is very clean with bags. Great place to stay.

They gave away our room so as a family of five we are now stuck in a single king size bed room. We were lucky I guess, because another lady and her friend could not check into a room that they reserved and paid for a month ago.

Check in was smooth! The bartender was awesome and inviting. Rooms were quiet and clean. We’ll be back!

Nate at the front desk was fantastic. Overall, a good hotel for a good price. Only downside was the water never got hot, just a little over luke warm.

The breakfast was awful every morning. For the type of money you pay for the room a better breakfast was expected especially when there are other hotels in the immediate area that are close in price. When I say this I mean no disrespect but the breakfast caters more to the staff that works there. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly. I had to go purchase supplies to clean the bathroom unacceptable.

At check in I was notified that the hotel overbooked, and they were unable to provide the 2 queen bed room that I had booked 6 weeks ago prior to my check in. This made the hotel stay very diappointing for me and my sister as we were looking to have our own beds. I ended up having to pay for a room and sleep on an most uncomfortable sofa bed. On top of this, there was a terrible lack of customer service at check in. The guy working the front desk who checked me in, gave me one room key, and didnt not say much else. He did not provide the introductory information for the hotel services. He was short with me when I asked additional questions and an extra key for the 2nd guest staying with me. The hotel room door sticks and was hard to close. I consider this a safety issue as well as an annoyance. Because of the busy schedule I had to keep, the property manager was not available when I was able to speak to them. There are also no microwaves which was disappointing. We were not compensate in anyway for the hotel's mistake that cause the uncomfortable inconvenience and disappointing stay. It would have been nice to have been told 1-3 days prior to the 4pm check in that the hotel was unable to provide what was expected so I could have made other arrangements at a different place to have the optimal stay while in Murfreesboro for a conference.
