Hello Firstly I’d like to say don’t listen to half these bad reviews . People that say it’s in the middle of no where clearly haven’t done any research prior to booking this hotel , which absolutely baffles me. El Campello and San Juan are a 10 minute cab journey or car if you have one away. Two beautiful beaches for the family or couples to enjoy. There’s a few small shops and bars 5 minute walk from hotel if you want something different. As for the hotel , it’s been updated since we last went , rooms currently still under going refurbs , we had top floor overlooking the pool it was a stunning view every morning and a very spacious room for me and my kids and wife. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and also my parents have had apartments they bought in the bonalba complex. For me personally to not have many English there is bliss I don’t come away on holiday to see English , I like the culture of the Spanish and the fact I try to speak some to which is good. No idea why people say it’s not a clean hotel , there was a cleaner in the toilets every single morning without fail , spotless and the pool area was so clean every time we went down there. Food was a great selection we had full board , every meal we had was brilliant and the staff always stocked up when the buffet got low on food. I will say if you don’t like waiting in queues or waiting in general to be served for drinks at the bar or reception then this isn’t the place for you neither is any of Spain 😂 they are very relaxed people and they take there time and you have to respect that. Overall for me I had a fantastic 8 days got back yesterday , my kids loved it and I will give one more special mention to AMY the animation team , she is outstanding with kids I mean the best I’ve ever seen with them , she is truly gifted, made everyone feel welcome always smiling , loads of energy and she had kids around her all day they were in awe of her , my three children loved her , please show her this review whoever reads this from hotel bonalba , I forgot to say bye to her as couldn’t find her on final day ( just say to her I was the dad of Jenson and Rocco the twins ) from south London she will know who we are , she’s not back until Tuesday night I believe so maybe she could read it then I wish her the best in life ,a superb dancer too. Booked for 3 nights, knew it was going to be nothing fancy but the location was important, very short walk across the road from the beach and marina also the bus stop from/too the airport which was a big positive. Me and my girlfriend arrived at about 11:15 and asked to leave bags in as the website stated check-in was not to 16:00. After a short wait the receptionist said the room was now ready so at about 11:30 we were in our room! The room was a bit small with the a view of a brick wall but it was nice and clean with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. There were a few minor marks on the walls and a bit of stains in the bathroom but as stated earlier, we just wanted a clean basic room which overall it was. Fridge and safe it the room was an added bonus. We went down for breakfast on the first morning but it was nothing special and not worth getting up early for, didn't bother with it for the other 2 days apart from getting a coffee. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel, and would consider staying again if we were on a tight budget, but maybe next time we might try something a bit more special.

- Hey, We had a good stay, The hotel is very nice overall. With a very large hall and several places to sit to drink or to put. A bar with affordable prices, a restaurant and a swimming pool complete this hotel. The hotel has a sports room but it is not accessible. It should be called to a coach you will have to find and pay for yourself. That's so much to say that it's not useful. Very bad.

We choose this hotel because the location and we were not wrong. Located just besides the port and a few minutes away from the beach and the “Passeig Esplanada d’Espanya” were you can find lost of local restaurants. The room was ok with a balcony and wonderful view of the port.

I’m staying as a student of university of Alicante in Villa Universitaria here. The price is pretty high so were my expectations. As I arrived I found everything okay. As I’ve been spending more time, I found many disadvantages. 1) I had problems with my key and the lock all the time. And though I clearly had problems staff didn’t do a thing but ignore my complains. I had to leave the door open by the end just to get in next time. Only when I started a serious argument they sent me a worker and he repaired the lock. 2) at first there was a microwave and one day I woke up and it was gone. For my question I got “it is not included” but I’ve seen microwave in other rooms. 3) there are vegetables for breakfast, it’s the same everyday: cheese, ham and lots of dough. To be honest there are no fresh vegetables at all. Everyday for lunch and dinner there is only a “salad” of 3 tomatoes cherry, olives, corn and lettuce. Coffee is a whole other thing... 4) the shower doesn’t properly work, water is spreading all over the bathroom. Th shelf in the shower is crooked so I can’t even put my shampoo and other staff there, it’s always falling down. 5) there was no toilet brush (it may be not the most important thing, but I wish you luck to keep everything clean without it) 6) dinner is at 20:30!! But it’s just a common Spanish thing, dinner is always very late. 7) finally, it’s not a disadvantage, just a friendly warning. It’s 40 minutes to Alicante so if you want to spend more time in city, it’s better find smth there. It will be cheaper and more convenient. 8) you better speak Spanish, staff doesn’t enjoy much speaking English

This is an excellent hotel choice. It is modern, spacious, and comfortable hotel. The rooms are very nice, with well sized balcony, the beds are comfortable, and the modern bathroom is functional, bright, with plenty of towels and nice hot water. The staff are efficient, approachable and helpful. The cafe seating area is outside road side, which is very great for to relax and just let the world pass by. The pool is excellent, with lovely decking. There's lots of eateries nearby, and the beautiful beach is just a short walk. The tram line is right outside. For the price you pay I doubt you can do better.

Stor and clean rooms. The bathroom and the phenomenal shower. The very friendly and efficient receptionists, especially Sergio. The only but, are the high prices of the bar and restaurant. For example, a small glass of milk, € 1.50.

Now there are a lot of people that this hotel is not this and not that. Let me say that if you are not over weight it’s a nice still to the Mariana and restaurants and beach to be fair. This is not on the front but what a lovely place rooms are clean with a mini bar that’s a nice addition to the room. Safes in the room and overall clean today and a excellent nice stay. As I always say I stay away a lot with my job and review fairly this place was lovely. The roof top pool was not massive but what do you expect for a roof lol. Nice little bar up there too. Have to say they tried there best to accommodate my early check in coukd not promise but they did there best. The front of house areas and the reception team are a credit to this hotel
