Checked in on 8.9.24. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Furnishings etc very nice; good quality of all products. But that's not the only thing that contributes to the overall impression. Some other details are also important. For example, water is not offered daily in the suite. Only on the 1st day. But even during our last stay at the "Mykonos Grand", two 0.5-liter bottles of water were included daily and the Nespressso capsules in the room were free. Here €5 per capsule! At breakfast, only the pre-cooked coffee is free; any special coffee such as an espresso or similar costs €5 or more extra. The hotel obviously benefits from the fact that there is no mini market or similar in the village. There is only a mini fridge in the suite, so you can't keep anything you've bought cold. On the previous island in Paros, there was a large fridge in the suite of our ***** hotel. We know that Mykonos is one of the most expensive islands in the Cyclades. But even at the "Mykonos Grand" every conceivable coffee/espresso/capuccino etc. was included at breakfast. All this in the Superior Suite category with Jacuzzi & sea view (only 1 higher category available). A pity really, not much more is missing. The young, friendly Greek, Jerry, who received the first complaints about the coffee and water in the room, returned the feedback immediately. The management reacted confidently. It is therefore necessary to adjust my original rating
