I booked out this hotel to use as a yoga retreat for one week in April 2022. I cannot recommend it enough! The rooms are beautiful and modern, clean, and with maid service, and all except one has its own plunge pool/jacuzzi. Free wifi, safe, toiletries and fridge. The communal areas were also clean, beautiful and have a very Tulum-esque aesthetic. Gorgeous pool (a bit cold in April but we still got in!), and comfortable sun beds, plus a beautiful view of Scorpios. The two lovely young women who manage the hotel and their guest’s requests were super friendly, and went out of their way to help. They helped to arrange excursions, do grocery orders and were quick to respond to any queries. I hired a chef of their recommendation who was wonderful, preparing vegetarian food for 14 each day and was faultless, accommodating a nut allergy and coeliac and making delicious food! We wanted to take him home! Hotel was just a 5 minute walk to 2 beaches, 10/15 mins to another beach and perfectly located. Would 100% recommend!

I can’t believe we fell for this. We actually were staying in a 4star property near city center and had this hotel on day2/3. Biggest mistake. The hotel is deceiving- our room was different one than pictures and I later realized they don’t have a single pic of that room anywhere on the booking site. Pool was dirty- we were told it is just like that. No phones for support in your room. Jetted pool has no privacy and is facing other rooms and is useless. Was dirty as well. I am a frequent traveler and can tell you that rooms are not worth even 1/4th the price you will pay. Day one of our stay, room had no blankets and we did not get much sleep. Remember you don’t have phones and there is no front desk. Casual approach to managing the hotel- one person was at the property most of the times and sometimes two. It is natural that things will be dirty and there is only so much one person can do. Breakfast was good, but not many options. Short on staff-no security at the hotel. AirBNBs have more security. Well, not that I lost something. I wonder what was I paying for. Approach to the hotel is wicked- most Taxis won’t agree to take you there and one’s that do they will charge you more. We had a big 25kg bag, which we had to drag up the hill and then take it back when we were leaving. Again, no staff to help with that. The one person staff is friendly, no doubt. I wish them well, but will never be at this hotel again. Overall, worst stay.
