Corbett Machaan Resort

We as a family had been to Corbett Machaan and stayed for 2 Days. Had a good stay with the staff at the restaurant being the best and to a certain extent with regards to the food. Property needs a repairs door are not getting closed properly which results in mosquito,moths into room. Please don't go by website photos though again it is not that bad but needs lot of repairs to make it look pleasant again. People at restaurant who serve at restaurant and chef are helpful. One guy who looked like a incharge was very harsh over phone when checked on High Tea. Since it is little interior there is no other options for food but people at restaurant are very particular not to take to rooms. It is a pet friendly resort.

In essence, our stay at this resort was comfortable and memorable.

Hi we stayed for 2 nights and the experience was average. The biggest disappointment was the service. Below average, non-interested, demotivated staff who have no orientation to service and hence will do the bare minimum if you assert yourself and insist. This is mood spoiler for you as you done want to be shouting around while on vacation. There is no efficient coordination between the staff teams and I would directly link this to the ***agement and supervision. It is an old property and its running on past glory and legacy. Basic amenities for a comfortable stay are provided, however nothing is maintained in a ***ner to make you feel good about the place. Eg. different sized drinking glasses in your room, no hand towel provided, electrical switches that do not function properly etc. Now they do offer food inclusive packages - which is good and a common practice across India, the problem is the food options are very limited. We can adjust to this as well as there is an element of budget as well that needs to be considered, however when you see the overdose of oil in the food and all items that you may want to avoid from a healthy diet are the only options provided - you start to worry. There are no restaurants near by and hence making arrangements on your own would be difficult too. Hence an area of caution. Overall no one really bothered that we were there and no one really bothered that we left. They do not expect us to come back I guess and that really sums up the experience.

Stay elsewhere if you like peace and quiet. Loud disco music all afternoon and evening. Nice rooms but service not good and like daylight all night, even when I asked on 2nd night for them to turn off big spot lights, still bright in room due to other outdoor lights and lots of glass with no curtains. Packed breakfasts dreadful, hardly anything and not what ww asked for.

Located at a quiet place, good for peace lovers. The property is scenic, has a swimming pool, a cafe and restaurant. The surroundings are natural and green. The rooms are spacious with attached balcony. The washrooms are spacious too. The entire property is clean and well maintained. Food is a big disappointment.

Over priced for the dirty rooms and filthy linen. I’ve seen better hotels in Ramnagar. I had to get the room cleaned again, linen changed etc etc. The place is full of loud crowd in the pool plus construction work happening. In my view: choose a better place. This is neither a decent resort nor close to a park gate therefore it lacks any USP

Amazing dinner with beautiful ambience. Very polite staff and helpful. Fazal and Ankur were at our service and they were too humble and sweet. Their behaviour was warm. The food was also delicious. 10 stars to the team for their effort Kudos

Had a amazing meal .Exercise service by staff food was very delicious amazing pizza. Ambience was good full family restaurant. Prize according to resort are reasonable. Suggest every to pls consider dinner here if you arr visiting corbett
