Hotel Escalante

Our second stay at Hotel Escalante and love this place even more! Well appointed, spacious, quiet room, excellent staff, beautiful pool area, convenient to beach (they take you there on their golf cart) and wonderful poolside restaurant. This truly is ‘a hidden gem in Naples!

This is a very pretty property in a great location. I didn't get to eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice. But it is not a good option for a solo female traveler because there is no one on site after 10:00 pm and it's dark and confusing to find your room if you get in after 10:00, plus it's motel style so the rooms face onto the street which doesn't feel secure particularly with no one on the premises. You should also know the following before you go: 1. no in room coffee and no place to get coffee on premises before 8:00 am. 2. Only one small bottle of water in the room. 3. if you get there past 10:00, there is no staff on site at all. They leave a map on the door that I found difficult to read and you have to stumble around in the dark trying to find your room--you have to walk down a dark, narrow cobblestone path with your luggage and as a woman traveling alone it made me feel uneasy. 4. No place to charge your phone in the bedroom--there are outlets but they are behind bedside tables and in use. 5. They don't provide you with the wifi password if you check in after 10:00 pm--this would be such an easy thing to do and it just shows they don't really think about the little touches. 6. the curtains don't really block out the light in the am. On a more positive note, the rooms are kind of older and a little dated but very spacious, and they have nice patios which lead to the pool. If you plan to arrive before 10:00 pm and you don't wake up early and want coffee and you don't need more than one bottle of water that night and you don't mind not having wifi or a place to charge devices or having a lot of light come in your room in the morning, it really is a very nice property, it just wasn't a good fit for my needs right now.

An absolute gem of a hotel, location and staff. We had a great experience and would highly recommend. The ambiance and support were excellent. We had a day at the beach and the service with food, drinks and beach beds was superb. Location to 5th Avenue was perfect.

We had a wonderful time! The attention was excellent, they were in everything detail. The restaurant has Great food, super flavour delicious!! They have beach services, that was great! I recommend to go with your couple, as a honey moon or couple trip! Really nice😍

Fantastic property! Old Florida exclusiveness, on the doorstep of Naples 5th Ave and famous Gulf Blvd. The landscaping is lush tropical and suites have private patios to enjoy included Continental Breakfast. Beach bikes, loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Awesome hot tub and pool with large loungers. The hotel is only 7-8 suites in the pool /restaurant area. The restaurant Veranda E is 5 star in food quality and service. Pricey but well worth it!!

The staff, particularly at the front desk and front of house at the restaurant, were quite rude and unwelcoming. Lovely setting, however lacking in hospitality. Because of the pretentious and aloof service, I give 3 stars. We were visiting Naples with couples.

Amazing romantic getaway. Just what we needed. Marco was on the spot with tending to our needs and wants. We needed the relaxing down time and they made it happen. Place is tucked away from the rest of the world but you can still travel out to enjoy the downtown Naples life. Can't wait to go again. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed over New Year.The location is great the room was average in size.House keeping was good the continental breakfast was good. Marco made our trip taking us to the beach on the golf buggy ,setting the chairs towels and water up for the day and when watching the fireworks organising seats for us on the beach Nothing was too much trouble .Using the bikes was really handy and felt safe on the roads.We would stay again .Another plus free parking by the hotel and on site an excellent restaurant.

This place is the hidden gem of Naples. The cuisine is absolutely world class. The grounds and pool area are stunning. The service staff bends over backwards to make one’s stay memorable. They made our Valentine’s week celebration unforgettable! We can’t wait to return next year to celebrate Valentine’s Day 2025.
