Saladin Lodge

Wow what an awesome lodge. Kim is the host with the most. Kim cooks an awesome breakfast and if your itinerary allows stay at the lodge for dinner one night. You will get a scrumptious homecooked meal and a history of the area and the lodge pre and post the disastrous bushfires of 2009. You won't regret it. Kim's tips on where to eat and what to visit in the area were all spot on . The lodge itself is gorgeous . The rooms are spacious ,comfortable, modern and extremely well built therefore not cold in cooler months and not hot in the warmer months. Property has a beautiful lake with waterlilies and trout, many walking tracks and a gorgeous view from the top of the property. Can't wait to return .

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The host Kim is such a delight, from the first warm welcome to showing us around the lodge & our apartment. Nice bush walks on this 68acre property with kangaroo’s hoping by. The room is so well appointed with everything to enjoy your stay with the little extras, pod coffee machine, great shower. Kim cooked a fantastic breakfast for us. Would highly recommend this for a short stay.

Absolutely beautiful property. So tranquil with amazing views. Kim was an unbelievable host, so friendly and welcoming. Celebrated a friends 60th birthday and plenty of room for 11 couples. Gorgeous lounge area with 2 wood burning fireplaces. Very comfortable beds. Will definitely be returning.

The atmosphere was beautiful.The host was extremely friendly made us a lovely fire in the lounge and a yummy breakfast in the morning.Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go their with other couples and or the whole family

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway at Saladin Lodge and we were truly delighted and so incredibly thankful to have come across this gem of a place. What an absolute breath of fresh air this destination is! The tranquility, the sound of the birds, the immaculate grounds, the nature walks on the property, all made for the perfect place to rejuvenate and immerse ourselves in nature. Kim the host made quite the impression as her hospitality, warmth and graciousness was hands down the best we've encountered. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed, relaxed and like its a home away from home. She gave us great tips on how to make the most out of our stay and suggested an excellent journey we should take on the way home. The accomodation was fantastic, the food was divine, the views were stunning and Kim was the perfect host. Highly recommended and we will be returning!

Just spent two days with my team for a work conference at this wonderful place. Kim’s hospitality was unlike anything I have experienced before it was like a home away from home, beautifully prepared meals (Kim prides herself on sourcing the best local produce) on a gorgeous rural property, slept in the most comfy bed I had the best sleep. Highly highly recommend Kim is so friendly and accommodating, we were already planning our next event there on the way home

What a magical place. Kim is a great host. We visited because it’s close to Lake Mountain but it’s a destination in itself. Cozy and warm during winter with two fire places in the Lodge. Great food to boot. Nice on site trail and views too. Short drive to local shops and restaurants.
