Pyramid Edge Hotel & Exclusive Pyramids View Rooftop

Clean, updated rooms. The rooftop restaurant and lounge has great food and an amazing view of the pyramids and city. It is very close to the pyramids. The bed is very comfortable. The staff there are very kind and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay

Good hotel that was close and affordable to the Cairo airport. Right in the middle of the city so you can enjoy the huddle and bustle while staying in your hotel and enjoying the views of the pyramids. Meals are served at the rooftop bar. Bathroom had a lot of hot water and rooms were clean.

Going to Pyramid Edge is like going to your home away from home. You're treated like the most important guest, all the time. And where else can you see the pyramids while you have your morning coffee? This was our second time staying there, and it won't be our last!

Stayed here as part of a tour with ride Egypt. The room was kept neat and tidy, food was great and bed was huge. But the best thing was the proximity to the pyramids and the roof top restaurant where you could chill out of a morning and afternoon and just admire the view!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and the experience was okayish. The hotel did not provide us with any breakfast not sure what deal they had between themselves and Jakada Tours. After requesting breakfast through the agency they provided us with 1 bread bun, Jam, and sometime juice in the takeaway packets. Being a vegetarian the food was an issue we did not have any options in the hotel not even basic club sandwiches. I ordered one lemon mint juice and it was so bad that didn't feel like ordering food for dinner. Hardly, I saw people in the hotel. The bathing facilities were average. The basic facility like coffee pouches and milk powder were missing and we had to request everytime. Not a pleasant stay.

We stayed here 4 night at the beginning and end of our trip (2 adulrs and an 11 year old). We were given the same room both times. As this was iur first trio to Egyot we hired out a private tour company to arrange things and this is were they put us. Room was OK. We had enough space to maneuver comfortably. Bathroom area was cramped. Our view from the only window in the room was a wall less than a meter away that blocked all light from coming in..which lead to the wife and kid nicknaming it "the cave". Functional, practical, not really all that great though considering there are probably much better options available. I understand that they probably have limited rooms for 3 people.. but that doesn't mean much when you're on a family vacation and stuck in the cave. Breakfast was quite lacking. The first day we got a buffet and could pick and choose. The other 3 days they served us a basic plate with a couple slices of cheese, the same strawberry jelly, 1 slice of beef ham, white bread rolls, and an egg. The best feature of the hotel was the breakfast terrace which has a decent enough view if the pyrimids and the sphinx in the background. Location is ok. There are some restaurants and shops in the area so you can stock up on drinks/snacks and get some dinner. Overall..good enough for our purposes but nothing that would draw me back to this property versus checking our other hotels in the area. The ok room and decent breakfast view just aren't enough for me to want to return. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at during this trip, Pyramid Egde was easily our least favorite. It's not horrible but it's not a property I would recommend to friends and family either.
