Beaches Negril Resort and Spa - All Inclusive

Love love this Beaches resort . It’s the best place in the 7 mile beach . Food is so good . Employees are wonderful . Lancelot keeps this place going great . Concierge is wonderful . Montoya,Sabrina went above and beyond for us . The lifeguards on the beach are wonderful and helpful . Deshawn was the Best ! The Stewfish for breakfast is the bomb .. the bartenders on the beach work so hard. The rooms are clean and so comfy . We will be back

* I recently visited Beaches in Negril with my mother and my autistic adult daughter to celebrate my birthday. We arrived around 1:45 pm, having requested an early check-in to accommodate my daughter’s needs. Unfortunately, Melícia at the front desk was disrespectful and dismissive of our situation. My daughter had an absence seizure shortly after, and while the manager, Daniele, was helpful in getting us into a room by 2:45 pm, the problems only began there. The room smelled of mildew, and water was all over the floor from the air conditioner. When we tried to clean it up, the towel turned black, indicating the floor had never been cleaned. After a sarcastic response from Melícia at the front desk, we were eventually moved to another room. The new room seemed better initially, but our troubles continued. Both my daughter and I started noticing bite marks and severe itching at night. My mother then became very ill with severe diarrhea and a headache. Over the next few days, the bites worsened, and my daughter and I were covered in them, while my mother remained sick in bed. When I raised the issue with Ms. Gisela, she dismissed the bites as mosquito bites, despite the itching only occurring at night in bed. The nurse mentioned another family suspected bed bugs, but no proper investigation was conducted. Despite promises, I have yet to receive any follow-up two weeks later. Emails to corporate have gone unanswered, and my mother and daughter are still sick with diarrhea and chills. We had to discard our belongings to avoid bringing bed bugs home. My autistic daughter suffered quietly, unable to fully express her discomfort. What was supposed to be a joyous celebration turned into a nightmare. I spent $6,000 only for my family to get sick and bitten by bed bugs. The lack of respect and customer service was appalling. While the beach was beautiful and some staff were kind, the overall experience was the worst I have ever had. I do not recommend Beaches in Negril.

We have been staying at Beaches Negril, more times than we can remember and have always had a wonderful time but this year exceeded our very expectation and then some. The employees were kind, attentive and delivered exceptional service day after day. We travelled with two other families and everyone seemed to know our kiddos and were always checking in on them. We truly felt like family. The Food and Beverage Team were all around stars. Marjorie Ann, Kerry Ann (Restaurant Manger at Mariachi) always met us with the warmest most inviting smiles. Keja, Taza Lee, Zandre, Kelli, Camilla, Lesmore and Nickeisha made every dining experience memorable. I can’t thank Ashara enough for making sure Almond milk was always available at Cafe de Paris. Boxer’s Team at the Watersports shop deserves 10s across the board. Julian made all the non swimmers (me) feel included on the snorkeling trip. I tried to stay on the boat but he was very patient and encouraged me to join in and Im so glad I did. Every time I walked by the Front Desk, Jaiana, Luther and Antonia always had a kind word and the brightest smiles. Thanks to Trevor and Colette from the Loyalty Desk, we will be back next year. Management was visible the ENTIRE trip, we ran into Danielle the Hotel Manage Noel from the Photo Desk, Belinda from the Gift Shop and Miguel the Entertainment Manager. The Executive Chef stopped by to chat with us and asked us for feedback. The effort to be more engaging with the guest community was felt and everyone in our party felt valued. It would be remiss of me to not mention the Entertainment Team - They were IMPRESSIVE!!!!!! We enjoyed the shows, the kiddos enjoyed the daytime activities and of course the silent disco. We have watched Delano blossom and thrive in his role over the years and we hope that he will soon be promoted. Nene was a sweetheart and we enjoyed talking with her. It is not lost on me that the staff who made this trip especially memorable for our entire family, are still grappling with challenges brought on by the passage of hurricane Beryl. They are incredibly talented and dedicated - this is why we keep coming back. PS: Big ups to the chef who made the octopus run down!!!!!!

If you go I recommend you try to find Delly. Very nice resort, even nicer people. Plan on coming back soon and I can't wait. Certainly recommend going. At the bar at the main pool the best bartenders to go to are either Leon, Rojaye, or Monique. Make great drinks for both kids and adults. Make sure you meet the entertainment crew when they walk around in the crowd after the shows they are very nice and will take some pictures. Everyone there is nice. Out of the 3 times I have been there with my family we were very sad to leave after we made great friends with some of the staff. We love everyone there and can't wait to go back!

PROS -Beach is immaculate and spectacular. Pristine white sand, crystal water. -Lots of great options for water activities included like the Glass Bottom Tour, which is so much fun! -EXCELLENT nightly entertainment, especially Jose and Elvin! -The grounds are very clean and well kept. -Customer service is excellent. -Pools are beautiful and well maintained. -Sushi restaurant food is fantastic! -Kids club (little one) was great. My daughter went twice (once for 45 mins, another for 2.5 hours) and she didn’t want to leave. She was baking with Cookie Monster and having a blast. -Sleep time tuck in with Elmo was such a great experience for my daughter. So was the character breakfast. -Lazy river is so great! -Love that they have life jackets for little ones so they can join in on the lazy river and by the pools. Our swimmie snapped in our suitcase, so this was a godsend. -My daughter was obsessed with the frozen yogurt place. CONS -More education needed to inform people not to disturb or manhandle nature. -You have to pay for snorkeling. -No seats for adults in the waterpark area. -Pizza place had no flavor and took over half an hour to get pizza. -Food options were limited. -No little kid-friendly cups or utensils. -Vendors on the beach are insistent. -Room keys kept deactivating every day. -WiFi is terrible. -Island Routes does not work with you for any promotions they offered (I wrote another review about this… see that for more details). SO-SO -Spa experience was alright. If the massage wasn’t mostly comped from a promotion, I would have been mad about spending the money. Nothing to write home about. -Photo session. We bought some of the photos, but the background choice by the photographer was the side of the building for half of them??? Be careful about choosing your photographer for this one. —— Overall, a great experience and we booked our next trip with Beaches to try Turks & Caicos next!

Beaches was amazing from start to finish. We expected top notch views and wonderful food, and we go that. However, the best part was how wonderful the entertainment was. It was well thought out, thanks to Delly. His shows were amazing, but we loved how energetic and engaging he was with the guests. The talented entertainers including Kemal, Kiara, Jhon, and Jose are what we looked forward to every night. Additionally, every staff member showed genuine kindness. We especially loved Steven, Kimani, and Monique (bartenders). I would definitely recommend having Dwayne take your pictures. He was amazing at his job and nailed them. If you get a chance, I recommend singing karaoke and playing sand volleyball with this crew. Water sports are a must (Kevon was the best)!! All of these people were united in love and kindness. They were friends that felt like family. Beaches Resort in Negril was definitely a 100000/10!! -Alliyah, Larryn, Rachel

My family and myself had a wonderful time at Beaches Negril. They offer many different things that other resorts don’t including waters sports. The people are super friendly and the grounds are well-maintained maintain. We did have one issue in our room and they took no time at all and resolving it and moving us to a different room. To the bartenders mainly Mario Thank You for making our experience Great your attitude and sense of humor will make us never forget you. (best rum punches on the island) There were also other wonderful bartenders one was they called Shorty (Tasheka) and let’s not forget Leon. There was not one person that was not great from the concierge desk, the maids, the wait staff, the front desk and even the employees in the store. Thank you for the wonderful trip. We look forward to seeing you all again and can’t wait..

This was an unforgettable vacation for our family. We even weathered Hurricane Beryl while staying here. The staff was absolutely amazing. They went way above and beyond to care for the guests snd get the entire resort up an running in an incredibly short amount of time. Lorenzo at water sports was amazing. He even gave us sailing lessons and took us out on the Hobie Cat. The water skiing, paddle boards, kayaks, banana boat rides, snorkeling and scuba diving were all phenomenal. The kids and my husband and I all loved the restaurants including Kimonos, the habachi restaurant. Justin was such an entertaining chef and food was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!

The most amazing vacation I have ever been on!! Jamaica is a beautiful country and the resort was the best experience I could’ve ever asked for! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all the guests and the entertainment was fantastic! Delly and Nae Nae made me feel right at home! The hospitality was exquisite. Would 100% recommend beaches Negril and definitely want to come back. Thank you to all the staff who made my family and I have a remarkable stay!
