Kimpton Hotel Fontenot

Service was great. Hotel is a bit tired …. Paint chipping and stains in carpet. Would be nice to offer cofffee in lobby earlier than 7. The closest coffee shop is only a 5 minute walk but doesn’t feel too safe early morning

Beautiful property, wonderful/friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Every request we made was accommodated, and the location was amazing for Mardi Gras. We will return.

The room was updated but still had the charm of historic New Orleans. The restaurant food was excellent. Definitely will return.

Everyone at the desk and the concierge staff were helpful above and beyond—when I had trouble finding my room with so much luggage in the cart, when I lost my phone, and in general.

I enjoyed this place and will come back again. I feel the staff was prompt and reliable. I really loved all three places peacock, king, and gospel coffee. I bought coffee apparel there! Enjoyed Ivan’s management support of my apparel. I also enjoyed the front desk chat with Aaliyah. I felt comforted with our ongoing chats and keeping me in the loop on what to do while I’m here and providing hotel service when needed. It felt like so had her service all to my own when I’m sure she had multiple folks she needed to support. A southern hospitality remote service was much needed. :)

We loved this hotel. Stylish and a great location, not too close to the party streets, but close enough to walk. There are also two wonderful restaurants. We would stay here again.

Everything from the location to the staff was absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday trip special. There was a little hiccup with a fire evacuation, and they did their best to make sure all of the guests were safe, informed, and comfortable. They even comped a breakfast for the inconvenience even though it wasn’t their fault. Thank you!!

I wish, they had a coffee machine in the room, specially for those of us leaving supper early, I prefer that to the snacks. Besides that everything else was great. Is an incredible place to adventure out of.
