Club Wyndham la Belle Maison

The one bedroom was a comfortable place to stay and the location was walking distance to many great experiences, such as WWII Museum, Audobon Aquarium, Saenger Theater, New Orleans School of Cooking, etc. It does not have its own Restaraunt but there are many places to est within walking distance, such as Red Slipper, Mothers, Meril, Hot Benny, Coivet, etc. My room was clean, full size fridge, kitchenette(electric skillet, no stove), good water pressure, and quiet (fifth floor). Some tours pick up at the door (valet entrance) Parking is pricey…valet ($35 + $10 tax per day) or you can find one of the public self park lots ($25 average)

This is my third stay at La Belle Maison and my family's go to spot for accommodations. LBM is in walking proximity to the French Quarter, River walk, trolleys, Superdome, Harrah's, and restaurants. It's directly across the street from the Ruby Slipper Cafe and a block from Canal Street and the Sazerac House. This trip we stayed in room 607, which has a beautiful city view, and a kitchenette w/o a stove top. The front desk will provide a electric skillet upon request. The aroma of the lobby area smells fantastic. Cons : * There is no in-room laundry. *The sofa bed mattress is extremely firm. I realize that this may be a pro for others.

Great location! Resort was beautifully laid out and extremely clean. We had an interior unit and it was also beautifully laid out and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We would return.

Loved this property! Walking distance to trolley and French Quarter. We had the Presidential suite which had morning coffee and Brio filtered water device just outside my unit. Very clean. The gym was perfect and clean. Just what you need. Only three washers so go early.

We loved our stay. Everything was so nice. The property is beautiful, clean and the rooms were huge! The location of this resort is absolutely perfect. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Just far enough away from the craziness but close to places to eat and everything was within walking distance. The Valet service was awesome and so was the front desk.

Very inefficient management in coordinating city tours. The concierge and management did not even inform us that our city tour schedule was moved from 9:30 am to 2 pm. What a mess! They wasted our time in the morning. Will never return and recommend Wyndham chains. Maybe because we are not white Caucasian people that's why they never care to inform us!!!!!

We didn't stay but were approached by a few gentlemen at Riverwalk Outlets promoting the Wyndham. The asked if we were 28 and when we did not respond, one of the gentlemen began to holler after us about how rude we were for not stopping/answering. My husband told the man that we had been talking and were not interested, and the Wyndham rep continued to talk back and be very rude. Ultimately we walked away with him still agitated. Not sure what his end game is. You dont exactly sell goods or services by hollering after people at a mall and being disrespectful.

This is the third time we have stayed at the La Belle Maison. The last two stays were following updates and the rooms were beautiful. The rooms are very large and we now prefer staying in a studio as there is plenty of room. We were there as Marti Gras was beginning and the timeshare was decorated beautifully for the occasion. Bread pudding offered in the lobby as part of the celebration. Very comfortable place to stay after a full day on the parade routes. As an aside, following many trips to NOLA we finally made it to Marti Gras and so glad we did. The entire city opened up to celebrate. It was amazing.

I appreciated Kim's owner update and learned key differences between WorldMark and "real" Wyndham ownership. Kim was very courteous and knowledgeable, but none of the options offered were affordable or realistic. After checkout, I received a WorldMark Board of Directors email telling me about the reduction of 2024 Wyndham management fees by $4M, and WorldMark will give us two separate, unprecedented special assessments and increased maintenance fees. We are exploring options apart from Wyndham, based on my experience with Wyndham customer service over the past 3 years. I've responded to many post-stay surveys from Wyndham SVPs and sent several letters documenting poor customer service (e.g., waiting on hold for hours, rerouted to offices “that don’t help WorldMark owners,” and staff who lost or misplaced reservations. I so am tired to be called "not a real Wyndham owner" by many Wyndham "partners." While it may feel good to write 500 words ＜ 4 minutes, Wyndham's cumulative lack of follow-through across many brands, inconsistent, and poor customer service over the past 3 years, is tiresome. However, I will give La Belle Maison 4 of 5 stars on sites like TripAdvisor, Google, Wyndham, WorldMark and Club Wyndham, thanks to great front desk service by Regina Jenkins and sales staff like Kim. Sadly, there are too many glitches in my recent experience trying to access Wyndham privileges as a WorldMark owner, such as Portfolio, TravelUp, and others. I will highly recommend La Belle Maison. An outstanding home away from home in New Orleans.
