The Royal Sonesta New Orleans

Arrived late evening no one on duty then had to wait 20 min to check in No water in the room and bathroom getting a bit dated No room service or cleaning and safe didn’t work Not worth the money paid

It's a historic hotel that has the best staff and it was so safe for us! There were security guards checking wristbands at the door.

When we first arrive at the hotel and we checked in. They gave us the key of a room that was already in use. They gave us the keys to room 4134. When we entered the room, it was a mess. There was stuff everywhere. So we had to come back down to the front desk to get new room keys for room 4114.. Within proceeded to go to bourbon street. Because I would say that is the most convenient thing about this hotel is it's location.. When we came back to a room in the middle of the night, the room keys would not work, so we had to go back down to front desk to get them reprogrammed, but the exact same thing happened the next day when we came back after lunch, our roomkies would not work and we had to come. Back down put to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. We never got the room serviced all the we did. Request it from the ladies when we asked them in the hallway. And we never got our conditioner refilled in the bathroom. We define that the hotel was mostly understood for the amount of traffic that comes in and out of the hotel. The checking lines are very long. And when we checked out of the room, we tried to go to the balduc to leave our luggage there while we had something to eat in French quarter. Because our fly out was in until 5 PM and check out is before noon. But we could never find a bellboy or anybody in the belt. Ask to check in our luggage. So we had to carry a luggage with us around french quarter. I do believe that they have to staff the hotel properly.

Great location in the French Quarter. Beautiful accommodations. Bit noisy just outside the hotel, but it’s to be expected on Bourbon Street.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your hotel. It was surprisingly quiet despite being in the center of Bourbon St during the holidays. My only comment for improvement is for the cleaning staff to be quieter in the hallways in the morning. Several days I was awoken by 7:30-8:30 am by their loud chatter. I was not the only guest to open my door and ask them to quiet down, respectfully. I understand the job needs to be done, but it should get done without drawing attention, in my opinion. I still look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you!

The hotel is located on Bourdon Street and is quiet considering that. We arrived at 10:30 am and wanted to check our luggage and for $75 we could check in early which was great. The Concierge pushed for the hotel’s restaurant and did really help with other restaurants. The Coffee at PJ’s in the Hotel wasn’t hot in the morning and when I mentioned to the Barista, she acted like she didn’t care. When leaving the Bellman pushed the taxi option versus the Uber or Lift option.

Absolutely loved this hotel, fabulous location on bourbon as we booked last minute we were unable to get a room with a balcony facing bourbon st but our room that faced the pool was great. Such a lively, fun, crazy area. More fun than Vegas. Valet parking was super easy with friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Chantelle was excellent! She was significantly more knowledgeable and customer service oriented than the other front desk staff. She quickly solved a problem with my reservation that was created by another staff member and followed through to the end of our stay. The doormen were also very nice and helpful. Overall, the hotel was pretty nice. I especially liked the dining options connected to the hotel. Thanks again, Chantelle!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal sonesta hotel on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. One unexpected highlight was the enchanting scent that permeated the hotel room. It was so captivating that I plan to bring the essence of the Royal sonesta into my own home by purchasing the room spray they use. in summary, my stay at the Royal sonesta hotel was a memorable experience filled with sparkling rooms, delightful stuff, and a taste of New Orleans at every turn. The allure of this hotel has convinced me to make it a tradition, as a yearly anticipate returning next year for another enchanting stay.
