Fake pricrs mention...they said 60$ per night i booked it for 2 nights and when i arrived they charged me 185$.I will not recommend to someone else this hotel

本当に落ち着ける場所だと思いました。6月5日から何回継続連泊させてもらいました一カ月近く滞在していましたが、近くにレストランもマーケットもコンビニもあり非常に便利で、セントラルパークにものんびり歩いていけるちょっと距離があるかな、ロケーションが良い。やっぱり安全で安心できる、各フロアにラウンドがあってちょっとしたシュアハウスと言う感じ。また利用したいと思います。 スタッフの方も親切な方ばかりでした。フロントドアもセキュリティドアで安心です。外部から容易に侵入できないセキュリティドアで安心でした。

Amazing location, super clean and fantastic service, super charming place. Would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it. The host/staff are very attentive and helpful. Bed is comfortable and you will find everything you need to make your visit very a memorable one. Do not hesitate to book.

This was a horrible stay. With the AC on full blast I awoke at 2am drenched in sweat and the temp 85. This was on a chilly Nov night. The radiator heat was boiling. The curtains were touching the boiling radiator and I feared they would burn or catch fire. I tried calling and emailing with no response. I was unable to fall back asleep. I had to get ready the following day while dripping with sweat. Someone finally answered my calls around 11:30am. And said they would fix it. The day was quite warm for November and the room took forever to cool back down. I left for the day and when I returned it had cooled down enough to get some rest. Went out the next day and when I returned at midnight again 85 degrees. I just started crying. I tried calling again no response. While sweating I called my airline and ended up leaving the hostel at 2:30am and forfeiting my last sight seeing day in the city to get an early flight out bc I just couldn’t not tolerate 1 more minute in that heat. Since that stay I have called and emailed relentlessly asking for a refund of at least 2 night stay and have gotten NO response whatsoever. I am going to have to resort to contacting my credit card company which I have never done before. Please do your self a favor and DO NOT put yourself through the misery of a sauna from hell with absolutely no way to contact anyone affiliated with the hotel in case of emergency. And do not expect any customer service if there are any issues with your stay. With all the added fees, I could have stayed at the New Yorker right around the corner for the same price. Lesson learned.

Simple, economical hostel. Everything was clean, and it felt safe. Room was small but comfortable.

Easy check-in/out process, great communication. Just be aware that there is no elevator.

Very clean and well maintained building and room. The shared kitchen was a bonus. Shared bathrooms (two on my floor) were always available and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great location, although a bit noisy at night with sirens and honking. This might not be an issue when window is closed (?). The only downfall was the fact that although it was nice to have A/C for the first three nights when it was warm (which also gave white noise), it got pretty chilly on the last night and window wouldn't close, in addition to the big gap where A/C was mounted. The blanket, a very small fleece blanket which was too short, didn't suffice and it was too cold in the room. Unfortunately I didn't arrive in my room until late at night to realize the fact, at which point it was too late to call management.

Bare bones but everything you need for a simple stay. Love that there is a kitchen on every floor!

My husband and I booked a night here the day of, because we decided to stay an additional night in the city. I didn't see before booking that it was a shared bathroom/toilet situation. It wasn't as dirty as it could have been, but maybe we were lucky. My husband told me that the mattress was dirty under the fitted sheet, but I didn't check. There is no sign with the name of the hostel. To get in the building, we called the "receptionist" who doesn't have a desk anywhere. He's somewhere in the building and you call his phone number if you need towels or something. He was nice but he smelled strongly, like he hadn't showered in a while and wasn't wearing deodorant. Sorry to write this out, man. What I really disliked was the fact that our room was a loft. So you enter the room and there's a small space with a little wardrobe and desk, a window, and the mattress is actually on top of a brief flight of stairs. The bed is right at the edge of the stairs. I was worried about falling over the mattress and in the stairs, so my husband slept on that side. That was unbelievable that someone would risk installing guests like that without caring of the human, legal, and financial consequences of someone falling. Oh well. Welcome to New York!
