I would give this property 5 stars if the payment/check in process hadn't been so sketchy.
When I booked, there was no option to pre-pay, only to pay at the property. Less than 24 hours before my check-in time, I received a message from the owner requesting my email so she could send me the "check-in instructions". I sent my email address, to which she sent a credit card authorization form and asked me to text a photo of my ID to a mobile number. This seemed wildly unprofessional to me as I've been an ******* member for years and always see their disclaimers all over every correspondence, clearly stating NOT to share your personal information outside of the platform. I responded to the owner with a screenshot of *******'s warning about sharing personal info/making payments outside of the app and then called customer service. After speaking with two ******* representatives, the only options that were offered to me were to cancel or proceed with paying the owner outside of the platform. At this point, I had spent over 2 hours on the phone with them and it was after midnight, the day of my flight so I finally gave up, paid the owner and hoped for the best. I still feel extremely uncomfortable about the whole thing. After my credit card was charged, I received a text with the code to enter the property, as well as my unit.
As far as the property goes, I loved it. It's right on the beach and very clean with modern updates. Could not have asked for a better location.
