Amazing food, staff, so clean, and views are out of this world. Thank you for your hospitality. Every staff member was really friendly and could not be more helpful. Got upgraded to suite which just made our stay all the more enjoyable. Our second time there this year and will be back.

The staff are typically brilliant but unfortunately the management have let this hotel drift into the motorway motel deterioration of the early 2000’s. To suggest this hotel is situated in some sort of wonderfully isolated glen far from the madding crowd is just grossly exaggerated as it sits within 300 metres from the N11. Sniff that glorious carbon monoxide every morning before the energetic breakfast blueberry. Room climate control didn’t work. Loo seat didn’t fit. Was given a fan replacement. Seriously underwhelming experience and we had paid extra for this supposedly executive room.

Unfortunately though the stay started off with excellent service and a wonderful breakfast with with stunning view under Pranjals's faultless management, we were let down badly when meeting up with our extended family in the bar by the Italian bar manager who became rude, petty and aggressive at us changing tables, it was disgraceful. Such a shame we had such a mixed experience. On the plus side our family room was spacious and had the most amazing view, pool was pleasant though could do with a refresh and the hot tub, divine. Lovely, relaxing place for a family visit, if you avoid eating in the bar.

We live about 10 minutes away from the Glenview. As such, we drop in regularly for an easy dinner when we don't feel like cooking! This is easy to do because the food is always punching above it's weight in the Glen View. What I mean by this , is that the food is always really high quality and the resultant bill is always very reasonable. Add to this the lively people who work in the Glen View, and you are on to a winner! The menu changed recently - Initially, I was disappointed, because I was looking forward to the venison sausages on mash and gravy. Instead I have the Toulouse Sausages on mash and gravy - They were better!!! 😁The minister for happiness had the Beef Goulash! I know what I will be having on our next visit - which will be very soon! Over the years I have been to many brilliant weddings at this venue - they are always great! I can tell you that this place is well worth a visit!

A highly recommended gem of a hotel. Fabulous location on the foot of the Wicklow mountains, close to the Sugar Loaf mountain, Glendalough, Powerscourt Waterfall, Ireland hugest pub and the beaches of the east coast. Stayed for two nights recently, upon arrival we were met by a very friendly and helpful guy Jude at reception who couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home from the moment we set foot inside the main door. Our room was amazing, spacious, clean, and very comfortable with thermostat regulated AC heating. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary, when we got to our room on both days we were met by a really nice surprise waiting on the table for us. After arrival on the first day we went to the bar for a bite of lunch where we were once again made to feel like royalty. It was so refreshing to experience staff who genuinely cared for their guests and wanted nothing but the best for them. I have yet to visit a hospitality sector establishment in Ireland where the staff are so attentive to their customers needs. Other customer focused businesses could learn a thing or two by paying Glenview a visit. We went to the Woodlands restaurant for dinner on the second night and once again the service was amazing, the food throughout our stay was second to none and I have to give the Chefs credit for the lamb curry. It was an actual proper Indian curry not an Irish restaurant”s version of an Indian curry…bravo chefs! They had music entertainment on both nights in the bar, the guy on the second night put on a hell of an entertainment show with his saxophone, flute and thin whistle. A very entertaining night with something for all ages. Overall I would recommend a stay at the Glenview hotel to anyone who cared to listen. Already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the staff and management for making us feel so welcome and sharing in our wedding anniversary celebration.
