Beautiful bungalows and fantastic views across the tea plantations. The sound of birdsong is fantastic, sat on the terrace with a cup of tea! Very very quiet. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room, but easy to order. They will cook to order if you give them time to shop. Very helpful hosts. Walking around would be difficult for some as there are steep steps and uneven ground in the vicinity.

Wonderful place to relax. Bed is super comfy and the only sound is birdsong. Staff can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. Important to have a car and recommend a driver too as the hairpin bends are scary! We would have been happy sitting on our balcony and just enjoying the scenery, in between the wonderful meals. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed longer.

A very nice place for this budget. The staff are very friendly and they provide a very good homemade food to enjoy. The rooms are small for a family of four two adults and kids below 3 years but can’t complain for this price. Drive towards this place is very pleasant but not so easy.

Had a trip for 2 days to Kothagiri and stayed here. The location is little outskirts that is the advantage here. Had been a quite 2 days. Facility have been well maintained and as the location is overseeing an estate, we could spot Bisons and deer. The room could have been little larger but perfectly fits for a family of 3. Mine was 4. Hospitality was very good from the time we arrived at the location until checked out. Food is prepared in the premise and you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks as well. You need to order in advance based on their menu. Food taste was pretty good ( tried only Vegetarian options). Special thanks to Mrs, Rani, Mrs, Santhi, Mr, Arun and Mr. Sanjay for taking care of me and my family. Hoping to stay in near future. Note:- Google maps will be confusing. Please follow the directions shared by the management. I figured out that "TN43 "was changed to "On The Way" cafe. After taking a "U" turn in front of "On The Way" cafe, you might hit another confusing guidance from Google, keep following the tarmac.

Hanging Huts is a quaint cottage-resort set on tea plantations in a secluded (yet approachable) area of Kotagiri. They took care of us for a week and we were absolutely thrilled with their service. The views are brilliant and the staff is very supportive. The meals were also homely. We had a week-long stay with Hanging Huts and we would totally go there again.💖 Only one suggestion is to place exhaust fans in the washrooms. 🙈 Thank you, Hanging Huts!

Really very good experience. Donot expect lavish things, but worth a visit. Even though it is a small place, well maintained and taken care very well by team. Special mention about food, amazing South Indian food cooked by Rani will be worth trying. Worth a visit for couple of days.
