Iberostar Herceg Novi - All Inclusive

It is an all inclusive hotel and they are not mean. The quality of food and drinks are better than expected. Worth the stay.

I’m coming back again this year! Because this hotel has exceeded all expectations. From arrival to departure everything has been perfect. The weather was slightly warmer than usual, the hotel reception Bodjar was charming & helpful. The spa girls gave amazing trea**ents. The pool bar & beach bar staff were so friendly and polite. Kids club was super interactive along with adult games for us! Everyone is so friendly and polite. The water taxi to take you from the hotel to heroic Novi is adorable and a great service the guys do a great job! The restaurant chefs make beautiful food! I do not have one complaint and there is something for everyone. They really cater to everything. Eden the restaurant waiter was really friendly and there is never a plate left empty at your table they just come and clear it right away! The most beautifully located hotel with stunning views. An all-inclusive treat; 4 fabulous days to decompress from busy lives. Spotlessly clean and a great range of food and drink (slightly better labelling of vegetarian options would have been helpful- but plenty of choice for vegan/vegetarians) Great breakfasts and delicious pizzas Locally sourced alcoholic drinks were plentiful, as were soft drinks/coffees etc A surprise birthday cake and bottle of fizz added to the occasion A taxi boat was frequent, and boat trips could be booked further afield. Staff were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Daily clean of the spotless bedroom with fresh fluffy towels was much appreciated. Great shower too. We didn’t use the spa- but heard good reports from other guests. Would highly recommend- and definitely going to return

Excellent hotel with an amazing location, the views from wherever you are in the hotel are fantastic. Rooms are good plenty of space large balconies, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is very good plenty of choice over 7 days. Pool is very cold but once you're in it's still cold lol. Drinks are plentiful and good quality. Tge entertainment team are very good and not the pushy type. Nighttime entertainment is a bit naff but due to location they have a captive audience All in all had a great week at the hotel. Shop around for excursions, Jet2 are expensive we used the girl by the pool.

We just had the most amazing family holiday at Iberostar in Monte*****. The hotel was clean, and the rooms are attended to everyday. The food consisted of a decent variety, with as much fresh fish and meat cooked for you to your liking. And as for the hotel staff, they really make the experience A class! Everyone and I mean everyone from the house keeper, receptionists, to the bar staff, restaurant workers and the animation team. We were consistently greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by everyone, and they were absolutely amazing with my two little ones. My daughter was old enough to join in with some activities at the Kids Club and she enjoyed those. As a family we joined Valentina on a scenic walk to a beautiful iew spot and I also did some activities solo. There's always something going on. We also enjoyed a couple of days by the pool and on the private hotel beach. The water is gentle and easy enough to enter. I felt at ease letting my two play and dip their toes in the sea. The views are stunning. Day trips out can easily be arranged as there's always someone there (Bobita was great) to sort. The hotel is definitely tricky for people not able to climb stairs, other than that I highly recommend this for a family destination in the sun! Thank you to all the workers there, you're really doing a great job for your guests. Special thanks to: entertaining and brilliant work with the kids: Valentina, Kate and Bobita. In the restaurant Aldo, Tijana, Mirko, Vuk and Semir and on reception Vanja who was always available to help and helped a lot. Not forgetting my favourite bar server, Ruslan, who made me the best cocktails!

If you are looking for an affordable, relaxing, stunning with good entertainment then this is the place to stay! From the choice of cocktail to the friendly and attentive staff! Just a lovely experience. I also want to mention the hotel staff Valentina and Sario who made our stay just that little better! Just friendly people! If you are going it is worth getting that sea view as it is breath taking to watch the sunrise and just throughout the day. You should also stop the the Spa at the resort and they did an extremely good job with the massage. There is a good variety of food to choose from and they also have a gluten free section too! The rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily which was nice! It is a bit far from the main attraction areas such as Koto but the location makes it a great place if you are looking for somewhere to unwind and relax.

Arrived last week for a 5 night stay on All Inclusive. Receptionist was very friendly and chatty. Taken to our room by golf buggy - upgraded from ‘side sea view’ to ‘sea view’ - Block 2, floor 4. All rooms seem to face the sea so not sure how they differentiate. Hotel is set in the hillside with extremely steep slopes and lots of steps. Room was very clean, plenty of hangers and wardrobe space, decent sized balcony with table and two chairs and clean bathroom. Only dislike was the shower (great pressure) over the bath (decent size) and the towel rail was so high my husband had to hang my towel on it as I could only just reach it (and I’m 5’7”). We booked a double but it was set up as a twin. Rang reception who said they would send someone to change it in 5 minutes. Was sorted the next morning after we left a note for the chambermaid - who was lovely and had a good sense of humour but hardly any English. Carafe and glasses in each room to help yourself to filtered water - machine on every floor for cold or room temp water. There was an empty fridge which they would stock on request but items are chargeable. Pool area was clean and there were plenty of sunbeds - umbrella and small table for every two sunbeds. Pool bar had small selection of snacks, ice creams, coffee machine and help yourself soft drinks - water, juice, usual sodas, iced tea etc and bar staff served alcohol. Staff approached you to join in with the daily activities, book spa trea**ents or hand out cocktails but weren’t pushy. The beach bar was less busy with plenty of tables and chairs, sunbeds and sunshades. Beach is pebbles and the water is really clear - saw lots of fish and several sea urchins - maybe wear surf shoes in case you step on one. There’s a ferry takes you across to Herceg Novi in 10-15 mins - €5 each way. Good way to pass away a couple of hours. Evening entertainment was by the pool bar and was ok but nothing special - disco, singing. One night they had an orchestra by the beach bar playing pop and rock. Music by the pool finished really late and you could hear it in your room with the balcony door closed. There is only one restaurant and it is completely self service. Soft drinks, beer, red, white and rosé wine are all on tap. Sparkling wine (not Prosecco) is available on request by the glass or bottle. There is also a wine list you can order from but these are chargeable (50% discount if you are on their AI package). We found all meals to be very good. There was always fresh meat and fish cooked to order at lunch and dinner as well as shellfish some days. Large selection of salads, meats, cheeses, vegetables (classed as the vegan section) and a gluten free section. Desserts were small cakes, ice creams and fruit. Dishes weren’t always labelled correctly. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient and a big shout out to Dragana who is now on her 6th season at the hotel. This was my first holiday without my family. I booked for my parter and I. Just wow, what a beautiful hotel overlooking that gorgeous scenery. We went start of season and was not disappointed. Lots of stuff for families and children to enjoy. The staff were so friendly and made our holiday. Would definitely recommend, will we be returning.

Stayed in a sea view room, room was clean, I found the pillows uncomfortable but my husband said his were fine. The shower had great pressure. The room was cleaned everyday. I am a fussy eater but there was something for everyone, I ate every day. You could not complain about the food, if you want pie and chips its not for you. My husband enjoyed everything that was on offer. One night there was a lovely selection on all the cold continental meats, that was my favourite. The season was just starting to get busy when we left, so the dining area was becoming busier and we would have to queue longer. There was a great selection on gluten free. Where you cut your own bread, you have to use a white linen napkin, some people weren't using this, which was a put off. The entertainment team were fab, I enjoyed the ****** night and the guy who was a flame thrower. Live music a few nights, great entertainment. Pool and beach area were fantastic, spoiled only by people putting towels out and then disappearing! I suppose you get this everywhere. The sea water is so clear you can see all the little fish. There is a water taxi, 5 euros one way or 10 euros and you can use it as many times in one day. All staff were lovely, they work very hard. I would love to go back, but Tivat airport has definitely put me off, it was awful, but that's another story. There is a lot of stairs so this will put people off, the best thing off all was the view, fantastic. I love Monte*****, the people who live there are so lucky.
