Hyatt Place Bloomington / Normal

This is a great location. Very close, walkable even, to ISU. Decent food options available from their kitchen and the complimentary breakfast is always a great amenity! Did not care for the very small drop off area in which nobody knew what direction to go in or they were just inconsiderate. Parking across the street was also inconvenient since there's no sky bridge connecting the lot to the hotel. It was free parking though so that was nice! We had a problem with our toilet not flushing and instead of waiting 45 minutes while they worked on it at 7pm, it would have been nice to be offered another room.

Very modern, clean, hotel, very helpful friendly staff. Was a quick business trip. Great Location, plenty of parking.

The guest services stated that the front desk was staffed 24 hours. I took a walk at 3 o’clock in the morning and got locked out. I tried calling nobody answered. I tried knocking. Nobody came in the key wouldn’t work to let me in. My refrigerator didn’t work in my room, and, I called the front desk this morning and it took 15 minutes for somebody to answer and when they did it sounded like I woke them up. They were very rude and just said what do you want. They wouldn’t give me a receipt after saying the night before that I would have a printed receipt upon check out. The shower soaps were busted and there was only a little bit of total paper on a roll and it was it. Very sad that Hyatt standards have fallen so low

Stay was mostly good, clean facilities but was placed in adjoining room and the people next door were extremely loud at 6 am. The noise in the hallway was loud as well.

Stayed here before and had no issues. However this time our room was directly across the street from the parking garage and the loud humming sound coming from it kept us up All night. Room 310.. STAY AWAY.

Stayed for two nights for a business trip - location was near our project and parking was convenient and free.

Quick trip, very comfortable and clean. Love that there was a Starbucks in the same building!

We stayed here 2 nights ago and found it so clean, updated and nice. We chose to stay here again because of that. However tonight our room is not as clean as I would want. There is a broken drawer, a door off its hinges, the lamp won't work and shower is out of soap. We will probably not stay here again.

Staying downtown in this hotel was a good experience. Several restaurants nearby. Excellent facilities. Large common area for visiting with friends.
