I didn’t get the room I asked for and had to switch rooms because the air conditioner in the room they gave me wasn’t working. So that was an inconvenience!

Clean, beds large and comfortable, lobby is clean and attractive. There is, however, an incredibly offensive and overpowering cleaning smell that hits as soon as you walk into the room hallways and rooms themselves. It smells like the fragrance added to kittylitter, and is overwhelming and inescapable. All of our items that had been brought into the hotel and returned with us had absorbed this horrendous odor and had to be washed.

The property is old. Breakfast was disappointing. Beware if you're booking the room with kitchen, they dont have any kitchen appliances available, not a single plate or a pot. Idk why but this is the only hotel in the world where you have to go to the front desk everyday to re-activate your room key. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Blood spatter on the ceiling. Cameras behind the mirrors. Rust all over the sink and shower. Do not recommend at all.

The property is in sore need of a facelift. Some aspects were done (tile in the bathroom). You could tell that they purchased bargain items as they looked new but were falling apart. There were cigarette burns on the duvet cover. We had a jacuzzi suite and only 2 of the jets worked. Overall it was clean and the staff was nice, but it needs work

Booked this hotel for the room sizes and it’s proximity to Manhattan for a vacation with a family of 6. Booked blindly and completely unfamiliar with the area. Hotel is close in mileage but there is always some traffic getting through the tunnels into Manhattan. Hotel is off a very fast and busy street. There’s an Italian? Restaurant next door with great reviews but not very affordable. And I think there’s a Wendy’s a block down or so which was walkable. The rooms are dated but were clean! Tv was old but it worked fine with only minor interruptions. Bring an hdmi cord and a laptop to stream your own stuff. Everything looked well kept in the room, they need to spend some time refinishing the bath tub but everything was great. I think it is run by a family and I love that.

This hotel is very old. The restrooms in the lobby did not work. The bathtub was very old and not in amazing shape. The checkin was slow. However, for this price, and if you only need a night or so, it's fine.

I liked the fact that I was able to fit my entire family of 6 in a room. I liked the free breakfast the next morning. I liked the fact that they had a kitchenette in the room that we stayed in (just needed dishes/silverware/cookware) and that they had guest laundry services on a different floor. The rooms were pretty clean overall.
I did not like the mold spore/peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling, the tub could have been replaced and a slip resistant mat or something on the bottom of the tub would have been nice. The front desk personnel wasn't always there when needed by someone and they didn't explain things thoroughly with extra charges.
