Premier Inn Nottingham Arena (London Road)

They do advertise no aircon, but given that I assumed there would at least be fans in the rooms. Hardly slept as it was over 26 degrees in the room.

Helen and Lorraine were amazing at my stay this evening at the Nottingham Arena (London Road) premier inn. Being exhausted from lots of travel they really looked after me, checked in and got me a table in the restaurant early and looked after me so quickly. Both ladies were incredibly friendly and i noticed how they gave a personable service all other guests too. This team really made my day.

Visited this morning for breakfast and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. It was a good selection on the buffet and the hot food came out really quickly. Will deffo be back if we wanted breakfast again. Fantastic service and I will deffo be recommending

Stopped of for breakfast, the staff were very friendly and welcoming even though we didn't stay. Good selection of continental and the hot food was tasty. Also a nice view of the canal and boats whilst sitting in the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back.

Very friendly staff but room on the front very noisy from the traffic as you need the window open because of the lack of air con. Borrowed an iron and ironing board but ended up soaking my shirt as it was a bit rubbish. Parking is ok but a bit pricey but all in all a convenient place for a lads night out in Nottingham.

I tend to travel regularly and Premier Inn iis always my favourite. However, this is by far the worst customer service orientated Premier Inn. Let's start with the beginning, my internet was not working so couldn't do the booking, I've arrived at reception and I've been communicated that they can't do the booking, and the only way to book it's online ( bizarre), in the end after 20 minutes a new receptionist appear and suprise she creates a booking. The rooms are nicely and the place and view of the restaurant is to die for. At 19:00 I decided to get some food, upon going down reception full of passengers to be checked in, people waiting to be sat at the restaurant, but guess what not even ONE employee at either reception or restaurant, after long time wait to be sat down they tell me they are fully booked (with only 3 tables) and that I should come back at 20:00 (no problem), waiting for right time to go down, surprise again a whole disaster no employees to be found, people waiting at reception, people waiting at restaurant. Now it's 21:34 I've sat down looking at the menu for past 40 minutes. I've got myself an uber east in the room in the end. This might be the first hotel that manages itself. Overall, the room and bed is good value, 8 min walk from train station and majority of surroundings. Beautiful view, such a shame to lakc completely even the most basic customer service.

The staff at this Premier Inn were exceptionally nice, providing attentive and courteous service that made my stay truly enjoyable.

Brilliant hotel the staff where really friendly made my stay very welcome one staff in particular Lorraine she was amazing was really helpful during my stay I would definitely recommend family and friends to stay there if there ever in the city

Appalling service. I’ve been staying here almost weekly for a few months. Tonight took the biscuit. I went to the restaurant at 6:40 and was told by “Lorraine” they were full until 7:00. Looking around with perhaps 4 or 5 tables being occupied it was clear they were less than full. Then I was told it was because they only had one chef on. So, why can’t I sit down and just order, work and wait – well apparently that wasn’t an option, I needed to wait 20 minutes and come back. What a messed-up notion of customer service. I truly believe that Lorraine, shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. Curt, unhelpful, and obviously not wanting to be here. Maybe she just had a bad day, but whatever it is both Lorraine and Premier Inn need to better understand that they have guests, and those guests should be accommodated to the best of their abilities. Frankly, unless I get an apology, I will be looking for another hotel in Nottingham, one which has a higher regard for their customers.
