В январе в отеле работает сауна, хамам, фитнес. Кондиционер хорошо работал на обогрев. Кормят нормально.

Stayed for two weeks in April. Some things were not fully operational i.e. flumes, could only water at snack bar on beach. Staff were very friendly and efficient, special mention to Ridvan and Umid who were a credit to the hotel. Rooms spacious and clean. Lovely cold pool. Cleaners are everywhere. Gin had a strange taste although others thought it was lovely however vodka was fine. Hubby quite happy with beer. Food in restaurant was good, some Turkish dishes to try. Chicken, turkey, fish and of course, kebabs.

We stayed at the Avena Hotel this April right over the school Easter break. It was still low season in Turkey so this meant a pleasant, peaceful stay. During our stay, the slides were closed, no entertainment, no kids clubs but this suited our group just fine. We all used the pool plenty (nippy to get in but fine once you're in!) The rooms were all incredible, spacious and well appointed. Our group had family rooms (a single bedroom within a double bedroom, very roomy), and one standard room (enormous). All rooms had an undercounter fridge with an ice box inside, kettle, cups, tea and coffee, hairdryer, air con, balcony and telephone. There was plenty of sockets around for charging our mobiles etc. He food was beautiful every night, there is so much choice, so we got to try some Turkish fare. I'd go again but not in high season, the amount of beds is just right for roughly half occupancy. And I'd take a big mug for a morning cuppa :-)

I came here on a solo trip for 7 days, first time in turkey. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. My room was basic but nice...it had 3 beds init lol. The staff was all friendly and welcoming. The food was okay, but I'm a fussy eater. I used the sauna and gym which was OK. I didn't use the pool as it wasn't that warm and I spent most days either at the beach or doing excursions. Outside the hotel is okay, as its March it was pretty empty and mostly rebuilding for summer. I'm not a drinker but I did have a few cocktails towards the end of my trip which was all inclusive. My room was always cleaned everyday and I was given fresh water in bottles in my fridge. The only bad thing is paying for WiFi in the rooms, it should be included but you still get free WiFi in the lobby. Would I stay here again...most definitely 😊

First time in Turkey and it won't be the last, great hotel and very attentive staff, who were friendly and made your stay feel special. Food was good and had a wide selection on offer to suit all tastes. Locally there are a good mixture of shops and places to book local trips, we used the one across the road from the hotel, the lady who helped us book was very professional and really knowledgeable. There's the usual towel reservations on the sunbeds, however when we went to do some sunbathing there was no problem finding one free, the other alternative is the beautiful beach just a five minute walk away, the hotel also provides a beach towel for your stay.

Food was ok lots of turkey and not large selection. Trying to give you flavoured vodka as gin and whiskey all served from miniatures. Hotel clean and staff friendly only thing that saved it. You have to pay for everything- WiFi if you want it outside the lobby. Safe for room. Spa nice. I know it was out of season but they had strict meal times and not even a small snack bar outwith these time. Pay a bit more and go for 5 star as we had to eat out and buy gin and even wine as this was vile.

Whilst the holiday as a whole was great, one or two minor improvements would have earned the hotel a better rating. Firstly the hotel is very nice in a good setting, secondly the all staff are amazing, a special mention goes to Ahmed, who does the fresh flatbreads/pizza etc. what an friendly and very accommodating guy he is. The weather, was wow! never got under 30c with one day reaching 37c. No rain and hardly any clouds during our 11 night stay. The staff seem happy in their work but sometimes are overly enthusiastic, such as removing your plate/glass/cup from the table while the other member of the party is still eating. Please don’t do this. Entertainment is mostly in house, bingo, Mr & Mrs type show etc. it is ok but somewhat repetitive and has the usual Children’s Disco to start the evening. The food is ok, you will always find something to eat the only grumble I have it isn’t very hot, it’s mostly lukewarm warm and not very varied. The beach is a short walk away and is a bit crowded but I’ve seen worse. The hotel has its own section, on the beach, and even if you are all inclusive you have to pay for alcoholic drinks, coffee and soft drinks are free. Restaurants are in abundance in the area, some better than others. Replica T-shirts etc are everywhere, sometimes next door to each other and every few yards, how they make any money baffles me. Lastly be respectful to them and they will return it. Oh, an afterthought, the transfer from Antalya airport to the hotel took nearly 4 hours, so be prepared.
