Laki Hotel & Spa

We ended up in this hotel as part of a group of over 40 people , after the tour company changed the hotel at the last minute. The building itself is ok but is at the top of a short but steep slope. Not good if folk have mobility issues as the coach can’t get up it. The hotel is about 4 miles out of town and only has an infrequent bus service to town, so unless you like a walk your stuck there The staff do speak English at reception, but less so once past that area, and aren’t really interested in customers. The room was tired and in need of a good clean and a bit of TLC. The staff came in daily but only changed the towels and emptied the bin. No cleaning done in a week. The food was very poor in both quality, presentation and usually quite cold. In reality it was not appetising in any way. For instance, the eggs in a morning were horrible. The evening meals are just as bad. There is a choice of fries or rice, both cold unless you get them as soon as they are put out. The meats/fish choices are available but not hot and tasteless as well. These things are very cool when served , then put on cold plates. Not good. It would help if the plates were kept heated. In reality good food Is available but not at this hotel. So you end up spending on food during the day to make up for the lack of reasonable food at the hotel. We had an evening at the Tino hotel ( which is the hotel we should have been in ) and food was a good bit better, and warmer. The staff are also MUCH better. We also suffered the noise of an unexpected wedding on the Saturday night. As the hotel was much busier that night we couldn’t find a table to eat at, so had to try again 30 minutes later. The loud music went on till well after midnight. Overall, a poor experience.

Please be very careful when you choose this hotel! I came here with my family to spend two nights,relax and enjoy but instead we couldn’t sleep because the hotel didn’t let us know there will be a wedding in the restaurant below the rooms for two nights until 12in the morning. The music was loud and impossible to sleep. Choose a better one.

Very good, i enjoy big rooms with my friends but the only prblems was that the doors was made iut of plastic and every thing we says in the room every one can hear it froom the hall. THE ONLY ANNOYING PART WAS THAT THERE WASNT HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER!!! And they said that they didn’t have enough personal to fix this problem !!! Tv good, bed good, balcony good, shower NO!

Booked two nights here with my wife because on booking com was 8.6 rating - rating should be maximum 6. Am not one to complain but the fact we paid for a night and left after one day speaks volumes. Hotel advertises a hot water swimming pool - this was barely warm and was so green it was impossible to see through. Turkish bath was smelling - sauna was barely hot so much so you could spend an hour there and read a book. Restaurant staff with their hair down in jeans - food was just edible. Shower was good - room was clean. The funny thing is in room leaflet there was a list of costa to be charged in case residents damage stuff. Have traveled to many many countries and been to several hotels but this was a first. The icing on the cake was we came down for breakfast - same staff were there for last night and on asking them about breakfast table - they gave us last nights menu. And told us we were only guests. Three staff were there last night and same staff this morning there were four tables were left uncleaned from previous night. Inckuding ours. Whoever’s makes sure that hotels have four stars shouid be court martial led.

I only went there to eat but never again, the food was awful. We had the seafood pasta which is not hard to do good but they somehow managed... The pizza was a 2/5. Nice location and staff but really needs to put more effort into the food

I booked a 2 twins room and I received a room with two single beds. They said that all rooms are the same, but from the *********** you can choose 2 or 3 pax :)) Small rooms and cheap furniture (not hotel furniture, maybe teenager room quality material). Bathroom overused with a desperate need of refurbish. You can find in the room a menu with prices of the amenities (4 ex. The bed price is around 250€ :))) LOL At the checkout they send someone to doublecheck if you got the bed with you :)) sooo comunist :))) I remembered the school camps from 30 years ago!

Very good international standard and professional service. Very pleasant room with a view on Ohrid lake. Nice breakfast Buffet. Kind staff. Good location close to the city but quiet environnent. Restaurant and room service of good level.

Hotel jest nowy, bardzo dobrze prezentuje się wizualnie. Pokoje są czyste, klimatyzowane. Bardo miła i uczynna obsługa hotelu. Nie oszczędzają alkoholu na all inclusive :) Niestety w moim odczuciu hotel ma też wiele wad. Wybrałam ten hotel, ponieważ w ofercie wycieczki zaznaczone było, że jest to hotel bez dzieci (od 12 roku życia) co zupełnie nie zgadzało się z tym co zastałam na miejscu. Masa małych dzieciaków krzyczących w brodziku. W hotelu są również organizowane wesela co bardzo utrudnia wypoczynek. Przede wszystkim zabiera przestrzeń gościom hotelowym, wieczorem nie można spokojnie wypoczywać nad basenem, bo obok tańczą goście weselni, a goście hotelowi mijają ich w strojach kąpielowych. Nieporozumienie. Muzyka głosna do 2 w nocy, więc jeśli ktoś chciałby położyć się wcześniej i wypocząć to marne szanse. Uważam, że powinno być to również ujęte w ofercie, że takie imprezy są organizowane, bo nie dla każdego jest to ok. Jedzenie bardzo monotonne choć smaczne i jak na all inclusive bardzo mały wybór. Filiżanki niedomyte, trzeba grzebać, żeby znaleźć w miarę czysta. Woda w basenie jest lodowata, musi być ona jakoś ochładzana, bo nie ma możliwości by taki mały akwen nie ogrzał się od słońca podczas gdy woda w jeziorze Ochrydzkim jest bardzo ciepła. W pobliżu hotelu prócz jeziora nie ma nic ciekawego, najbliżej trzeba jechać do miasta Ochrid. Właściciele zaglądają do hotelu, ale trzymają się na uboczu. Nie nawiązują żadnego kontaktu z gośćmi, chwilami zachowują się tak jakby robili nam łaskę, że możemy być gośćmi ich hotelu. Cały pobyt był w miarę w porządku, ale następnym razem wybrałabym inny hotel :)

Jak to jest napisane w ofercie biura podróży Regobis, to nie jest hotel dla dzieci (co nie znaczy, że ich tam na pewno nie będzie) - brakuje terenów zielonych i placu zabaw, wyjście z hotelu jest prosto na bardzo ruchliwą drogę, przez którą trzeba przejść idąc na plażę hotelu Granit lub dziką plażę. Nowoczesny design hotelu i pokojów robi dobre wrażenie. W weekendy w restauracji odbywają się wesela. Plusem na gorszą pogodę jest basen, sauny i jacuzzi wewnątrz. Do Ochrydy można przejść nad jeziorem lub wzgórzami w ciagu godziny.
