Seaphoria Beach Resort

Thank you very much to the Seaphoria family. We had a nice holiday. The staff is very hardworking, friendly and helpful. Mr. Ümit, the hotel manager, was very interested in us. A person who tries to take care of everyone. We will come again. We are very very happy……

Went to the Seaphoria beach resort for a week with two friends to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is supposed to be 4 star but I think 2 star accurately describes the food, facilities and service available. The lobby/ reception area is very nice but this disguises a number of issues. The toilets in the reception area are not kept as clean as you’d expect and sometimes smelt unpleasant. There are two lifts with a capacity of 5 people so there is sometimes a considerable wait. Two of us were sharing a room and the first room allocated on arrival was very small. Our flight was delayed from the UK so we arrived at 2am and were told that no snacks were available. The receptionist/porter entered the room to provide information but advised that he didn’t know how to operate the safe but we’d be able to speak to someone in the morning. We asked for a move to a bigger room. The new room was bigger, but the phone didn’t work. We reported this to the same receptionist/porter who said that it would be addressed. It wasn’t. A day later two workmen knocked on the door, I opened and asked what they wanted, it became clear that they didn’t speak any English. One of them pushed past me and began drilling additional hangers in the wardrobe. We asked for an explanation at reception but received a shrug in response. The general cleanliness of the hotel wasn’t as expected. I don’t think that our balcony was swept in the time that we were there. My friend was up during the night because she found the bed so uncomfortable. The bathroom mirror/light had exposed wires and fixtures. The food was bland apart from Turkish night which was the best entertainment experience of the week. Although there are posters advertising the entertainment choices it isn’t clear what days the shows are held. The pool area was fine with comfortable loungers but no one seems to clean the tables. There’s no bar service at the pool or beach but staff were happy to help bring drinks to the pool or beach. The women’s toilet between the pool and beach was out of service for the duration of our stay. There are water slides but these were usually roped off between 12-2 during the day although there two lifeguards. Our booking included one dinner at the hotels a la carte restaurant. The food was very plentiful but was even blander than the selection in the main restaurant apart from the bread and appetisers which were very tasty. The choice of music at breakfast, (1940’s jazz) seemed at odds with encouraging a convivial atmosphere. Eyup who worked in the lobby bar between 4pm and midnight was very friendly and made the best cocktails. Amy from the animation team was wonderful and super helpful as she helped me resolve an issue that arose when I left a device in the hotel. The hotel did not respond to my emails and she intervened, retrieved it and very kindly posted it back to me. The email address that the hotel eventually provided was different from that avail

The entertainment group is amazing, the hotel is beautiful and you can find there everything you wish for! 😍 the food is great, brand new rooms have everything you need. We can recommend the hotel!🥰🥰

We booked this holiday through a travelzoo deal. Initially, we were quite nervous due to previous reviews but this hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived late at night and our room still wasn’t ready, we were put in a temporary room and were told our room would be ready the next morning. The reception staff tried to give us a room different to what we originally booked, but changed it to the room we booked when we questioned it. Despite this, our new room was great: spacious shower and balcony, air con, clean bedroom with fresh towels daily and free toiletries. Also, a mini fridge packed with soft drinks (this is not replenished). Upon leaving the hotel, the reception staff were not particularly helpful in helping us find out information regarding our late transfer vehicle. The hotel has only 2 lifts and this became more frustrating as time went on. We found some stairs (likely fire escape stairs) which people were using but they were poorly lit. We found there was a lot we weren’t aware of due to the lack of information from staff and lack of signage - No signage on how to get out to pool area from hotel etc. There is also no labels on food at the buffet and no drinks menu apart from a small cocktail list. BUT alcohol quantities are very good! There is food all day long in the main buffet restaurant but breakfast is quite bland and boring. There is also ice cream for 1 hour a day (3-4pm). You get x1 visit to the a la carte restaurant and this was incredible, food was delicious and we went away feeling very full up. Staff speak minimal English and the hotel is mostly Russians and Germans. Most music and entertainment was spoken in a different language to English (we never really knew what was going on). There was a show or event every night for adults and a kids disco earlier on in the evening. There is also a shop selling clothes, bags, snacks on site. You get pool towels with towel cards given by reception. The pool is quite small but holds a lot of activities and loud music with the entertainment team. There are slides but they were only turned on a couple of times a day, the pool isn’t cornered off with safety rope to avoid people swimming when these are on. There is a beautiful beach with water sports on, the sea is warm but pebbly. We struggled with finding sun beds, this is definitely a hotel where you need to get up early for decent sun beds and for me that is not a relaxing holiday environment. People claim sunbeds with towels and then never come back to them for the whole day (we have witnessed this). This was one of the most frustrating parts of our holiday, and slightly stressful. There definitely is NOT enough sunbeds for the amount of guests this hotel holds. The cleanliness of the hotel wasn’t great, public toilet floors usually wet, not replacing toilet rolls from afternoon to evening. We have just returned from staying at this hotel for 12 nights .Our room was lovely and very modern with plenty of closet space.We had a good size tv in our room and the beds were so comfy and fresh .The balcony was big and we overlooked the pool with slides and we had a nice view and could see the sea.We had all inclusive which was okay but the food choice was not good for .breakfast the scrambled eggs was cold most morning and the toaster was switched off so you had to find someone to turn it on The entertainment at the hotel was good for children with kids Disco then followed by Entertainment for Adults Sometimes I felt the English had been left out as most of the time announcement was made in Turkish.Of course lots of Turkish at the hotel when we was there and most staff did not speak English. Saying all the negative points there were a lot of positive points we made friends with staff who tried to communicate with us who did not speak English.The cleaners did a fantastic job leaving our room so nice to return to .The pool was lovely and we always managed to get sunbeds.Main meals good choice if you dined early and Ala carte was very good . Hotel at the back is straight on to beach and just outside hotel is a shopping bazaar.Just up the road from hotel there is a travel agent who can book day activities. 07 melis tur we did the Buggy Safari this was brilliant . So this hotel and location is very good value and yes we would go back again .Also the pool area has Hairdressers and shops selling clothes and confectionery and snacks and drinks .

This hotel is an absolute disappointment. Majority of staff are not welcoming or approachable. Zero communication skills, nobody understands english well. The wifi does not work well, the hotel is new but unfinished. There is an awful sewage smell around the hotel and the pool shops smells disgusting. The hotel cater only to russian and turkish clients, all animation is done in their language. I don’t think this hotel is appropriate for english tourists at all. Especially for how much you pay. The rooms looked nice upon arrival but noticed so many issues, mirror was broken. Dangerous electrical issues also. Shower floods everyday so your bathing in dirty water. A/c unit does not work in one of the two room we took. Housekeeping wasn’t done properly the floor was stained all 10 days we were there. Made reception aware as much as they understood, but nothing was done about any of the issues we had. You can only get towels between a certain time after 11am, so if you need it in the middle of the night they simply say no. The food was the same every single day, to the point we stopped eating last few days we were there. Especially the ‘snack’ bar out by the pool. We were made to feel unwelcome the stares and speaking at us in their language with aggression. We felt like it was a huge disappointment because the hotel location is great with a lot of potential. Most of the good reviews are from russian or turkish guest and no doubt that they are welcomed and treated exceptionally. But this was not the same for us also. I would like to say a huge thank you to Maria and Ahmed. Two people who were kind and very nice people to speak to on a daily.

Very nice hotel, if you want to relax and enjoy with your family this is the place to be. Rooms are clean, food is of excellent quality and enough varity to choose. The staf is very nice, helpfull and professional Definitly will code back.
