Orust/Nösund

Welcome to beautiful Orust, one of the most popular summer holiday destinations in all of Sweden! This cosy holiday home is set outside of the charming town of Nösund, on western Orust. This is the perfect holiday home for those who want to explore the beautiful archipelago of the west coast!The two-storey cottage is set next to a mountain, which keeps it sheltered from the wind, and has a beautiful view of the area. Chances are you will spot elk and deer as theres plenty of wildlife in the area. The cottage is set on a natural garden plot and has a comfortable terrace.On the bottom floor you will find a combined kitchen/ dining area/ living room with a TV and sofa bed. The sofa bed is small and best suited for children. In the bathroom, theres a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. The upper floor has two open-plan bedrooms, with two single beds in each. These beds can be put together and used as doubles if you want to. Please note that the upstairs has sloped ceilings and a ceiling height of 190 centimetres.Nösund is a lovely summer resort and has two excellent beaches. One is called “djupe badet”, or “the deep bathing spot” and features a bathing dock and a trampoline. The other beach is called “grunde badet” and is a child-friendly beach with shallow water. Nösunds Värdshus is a charming inn, set by the beach. It offers an excellent restaurant, a saltwater SPA, and many music events during the summer.The archipelago offers a number of lovely towns and islands that you can visit, such as the island of Lyrön, which you can reach by ferry. On Lyrön theres a restaurant called Bryggvingen and a honey farm called Tavlebords Honungsgård, where you can see the bee-hives, buy honey, and have a cup of coffee in the café.The town of Ellös is 6 kilometres from the cottage. The owner of your cottage lives on the same garden plot, about 60 metres away.
