Sunset Beach Resort

I would recommend getting a house closer to your boat slip. That's a long walk up hill. The house was great and clean! Kathleen is awesome. Bar and restaurant right across the cove is awesome as well.

Very nice and helpful lady in the office. Super friendly and cheerful! Our room was super clean and had a great view! Loved being able to walk right out to the water, you are just steps away here. Location, location, location! This place was close to everything. Will definitely be back!

We love our stays at Sunset Beach Resort! The cabins are perfect for our stays, very cozy and clean , in the perfect location for us with fuel and entertainment nearby. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic! Great, kind, knowledgeable people! Spacious, clean houses, rooms, and grounds. Hilly, lots of stairs (#4 - 7 to pool), but gorgeous view of lake and pool! #17 & #18 can easily house 10 persons comfortably. Blankets and pillows were thin, but plenty extra provided for comfort and warmth. Thin walls and floors and ceilings; no carpeting and lots of echos, but without hesitation would come back to stay for a vacation again! Wasn't expecting 90° weather, so pool was kept open longer than normal season for our stay by request and without hesitation. Also rented a boat at the docks for reasonable price and enjoyed a day on the lake! Everyone was so kind and trusting of our group. They remained flexible and open to suggestions for their upcoming renovations to include a fire pit on the beach and perhaps extend the beach front a little more (15x7 feet, maybe?).

We loved this resort. Our unit was directly on the water and had everything we needed. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was casual, just as we like it. Look forward to returning. Really enjoyed watching the boats go by. Location was close to everything.

Kathleen went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious enough so that we were not always running into each other. Each cabin had its own charcoal grill and picnic tables so you were able to grill when you wanted to. We were able to fish from the docks and catch some decent-sized catfish. I would definitely recommend Sunset Beach Resort to anyone.

Beautiful area to view lake traffic, very accommodating and pleasant owner, clean unit and it was a low traffic . Close to dining, shopping and necessities. Has on-site swimming pool that over looks the lake.

We had a fabulous time at this resort! Kathleen is over the top and helpful as can be! Our cabin was splendid! Clean and updated and so close to the water and the dock! We had a picnic table and charcoal grill that we enjoyed and close to Blackwater Jacks if you dont want to cook! We will be back and will stay here again! Highly recommend it!
