Citadines Namba Osaka

Place was convenient. Near namba area (10 mins walk). Very near to kuromon market as well. Walking distance to yasaka shrine as well. Good cleanliness, size and service for a 4 star. My second time back here. I normally stay here when i come to osaka.

Only ptoblems with bathroom/toilet. High step into bathroom cum toilet. Dangerous for children and elderly. High height to get into bath tub to shower. Can only shower inside bathtub. Foul smell inside bathroom n there are flies inside. Other than these, nice and big room with comfy comfortable but bed too soft for my back. Take note tv is not a smart tv. Si cant stream Netflix. Only English chanel is CNA. Limited Japanese local channels too. So can only watch movies on your handphone... location to train station is 7 mins.

Location is not the best but still isn’t too shabby. Staff are alright, room was great. Many food options nearby.

The hotel is more than impressive. The location was great and the rooms are european / fashioned themed. In general it is a very stylish hotel.

Hotel is located about 5-10mins walk to train station. 15mins walk to walking street but plenty of food choices nearby the hotel. There is a food hall just within the hotel ground floor. Hotel rooms are big and well furnished with microwave too. There is resident lounge open 24hrs for guests to chill and relax.

We stayed in suite 713 for 5 nights. It was like a small one bedroom apartment with a small entry foyer, small hallway, large separate bathroom, separate bedroom and combined kitchen dining living room. It seemed much bigger than the quoted 45sqm. It's at the rear of the hotel and was dead quiet for the whole stay. No traffic or hotel noise. None. The full blockout curtains also worked perfectly. We rested very well. My only small criticism about the layout was the use of a sliding barn type door on the bathroom with no seals, so that it wasn't as private as we prefer. There was excellent water pressure and USB power outlets next to the bed. No international powerpoints. We paid for the breakfast buffet on one morning and hated the bright orange runny mess that was supposed to be scrambled eggs, the undercooked, anaemic bacon and soggy sausages. Luckily, there were enough other choices, but we didn't go back a second time. We also didn't like the fact that you need to plan ahead for breakfast because it effectively finishes at 9:30 a.m. and you need to pre-buy a coupon at reception. You can't just charge it to your room after you finish. (We liked it so much we actually extended our stay for two extra nights at full price.) Despite the minor niggles, we loved staying in this room and would easily stay here again.
