Die Lage ist traumhaft am Fuße der Swartberge und das Hotelareal wunderschön angelegt. Ausflüge sind von hier aus gut zu planen. Das Restaurant Patat macht ein gutes Menü am Abend, welches man auf der Terrasse beim Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Wir können diesen Ort sehr empfehlen.

The property is isolated near Swartberg pass with stunning views of the surrounding country. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner were taken in the on-site restaurant and the food and choices available were excellent. Most impressive was the wine list.

This is the third time i have stayed in this wonderful place. Beautiful views and excellent, efficient and friendly staff and beautiful rooms all contribute to a wonderful experience. The breakfasts are excellent and the meals in the Patat restaurant are out of this world(although this time the Christmas dinner was not of the same high standard as all other meals i hasver thoroughly enjoyed there, but I will forgive them it was Xmas after all). Definiterly a place that provides food for the soul. And yes I will be back for more.

We stayed for the weekend and just enjoyed the beautiful Swartberg mountains and surrounding farm atmosphere. The old farmstead constantly remind you of the way life was 100+ years back. Here you can just sit and be. Enjoy the excellent service, food wine and space.

An excellent break away location offering a peaceful ambiance and rest for a busy mind. The chef is commended for his lovely, tasty meals, well prepared and beautifully plated. Ingedients are of the highest quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Service standards are high. Management always on site, helpful and caring, ensuring that guest needs are met. Lovely farm walks and birding opportunities. Highly recommended.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location. The food at the restaurant is amazing. The staff were great and super helpful. The rooms definitely need an upgrade; the bedding was dirty, the shower had mould, and the window in the bathroom did not open. There was no fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, and the aircon made a large amount of noise, which made it impossible to use while sleeping. Plug points for device charging are not conveniently located.

The Manor is the perfect place to sit back and relax, with stunning views and amazing service. When the Karoo gets too hot there’s a pristine pool to cool off in or even just relax next to. I thoroughly enjoyed the 3km walking route that featured a variety of birds and other small creatures. The linens were lovely and fresh and the room decor was light and refreshing. The food was to die for, breakfast was a cold buffet with a design your own warm breakfast. Dinner was a delicious 3 course meal with a choice between 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts. If you are seeking some adventure the manor is not farm from a bunch of activities including the Cango Caves. It really is a piece of paradise.

The food was absolutely amazing and great service. If you want to visit the swartberg pass this is the ideal stop. Very nice views of the mountains and the accommodations were high standard. I would certainly recommend it
