The hotel may have been 4* when first built but it doesn’t present as such any longer. If you accept that it is really a 3* then you won’t be disappointed. The staff were friendly and the rooms were kept clean enough. The rooms were fine, nothing extravagant (there is a tv, a small kettle and some coffee/tea things, a safe and mini fridge in the room). The AC was fine for the time of year we went (average temperature during the day was 26° and at night around 20°, if it had been hotter then the AC may not have been powerful enough for my liking). The pool areas are fine, there is a large pool with a smaller splash pool connected to it, then a smaller pool at the far end and a kids pool at the bottom near the tennis/volley ball court). The water temperature of the pool was very cold but that didn’t seem to put anyone off using them. There were plenty of sun beds and even some cabanas so there was no shortage for people to use. The restaurant was adequate, nothing fancy but we always managed to find something to eat. It comprised of a buffet style with soup of the day, pasta and a separate sauce and a good salad selection. There was a choice of other things which changed daily (usually a meat option, fish and something veggie). If you are expecting a top quality eating experience then you will be disappointed, however, as mentioned if you go in with the expectation that what you are getting is a 3* experience then you won’t be disappointed. The bar was fine, there is a cocktail of the day which you can get as many as you want. There’s also a choice of local alcohol as part of the all inclusive but if you want the better quality stuff you have to pay for it (as an example a Bombay sapphire and mixer was €9). The entertainment was a bit hit and miss, there was a mini disco for kids each evening and then some form of entertainment for adults (film night, quiz night, bingo etc) it wasn’t for us and was a bit basic but nothing too horrendous. There was also water aerobics during the day and table tennis and table football tournaments also. There is free table tennis (you just give a returnable deposit to use the equipment) however, the other handing equipment you have to pay for (table football and pool table). The hotel is up quite a steep hill but there is a shuttle service that runs during the day (the last one is about 7pm). The main resort is about 10 minutes down the hill but the walk does take you through the old part of Pefekhori so it was nice to get a more authentic experience of the area than the main promenade gives you. Overall we enjoyed staying here and would come again. It’s sufficiently away from the main part of Pefekhori that you are afforded a nice quiet hotel to relax in but also close enough to allow you to venture out in the evening. As for Pefekhori itself, it’s a lovely little area, a nice beach with lots of beach bars and restaurants (however if you travel a further 5 miles down the coast you will find Glavocaro
