You might as well stay at Motel 6. Actually, motel 6 is better. Pretentious place. Old installations, not too clean. In the middle of the night our ceiling started having a HEAVY leak. At one point 3 different drops were falling, and the water fell on my luggage. We had to change rooms past midnight, they assigned us rooms in another building, there were no elevators, so we had to carry our bags without help down and up the stairs. When we made it to our new room, the code didn't work! I chatted with the service people at the app and they kept playing games asking for information they already had asked before. Finally they sent a person who actually was helpful, but it took nearly half an hour and they couldn't fix the issue and ended up giving me a physical key. To make things worse, the app kept erroring out on me and I had to start the conversation again, yet another time with the service representatives. Instead of apologizing for the state of disrepair of the hotel and the terrible tech behind it (really, if you are going to have a hotel like this with basically no personnel on the premises, your app should be WAY better), they kept saying that they were sorry that I felt that way. No, it's not about my feelings, it's about your dirty, old installations and buggy app. At least the person they sent was helpful in the end, after we spent a very long time outside of the new room, until our hands got numb. Bonus: there is silicon lube on the floor of our new room. Really, avoid at all costs. This place deserves to go out of business.

Very hard to find. Loud put 70 year old people upstairs over the bar and restaurant music blasting and 6 o’clock bang pots and pans in the kitchen you can hear everything even the cars driving by. Would not stay here again

They wanted to hold a deposit when i already virtually paid online. I paid extra to secure my reservation. Horrible service

The biggest issue was the hotel management company had changed 3 weeks before our trip and the original company (Sonder) told us the night we arrived that our hotel was cancelled. We went on to the actual hotel and the staff honored our original reservation and after a few other issues were discovered they upgraded us to a better room. We ended up really enjoying our time and would love to book there again with the V at Palm Springs!!

Everything it was good. We just have a lil problem with bathroom door. Cuz get stock when we want to close or open

Horrible horrible experience. I booked a reservation for Jan-Feb 2024 back in April 2023. A WEEK before I was supposed to check in, I get a text/email alert that my reservation has been canceled…a WEEK (where was I supposed to stay and how could I change all my flights, hotel, car rental last minute and still get good rates booking a YEAR in advance?! No assistance with rebooking me or comping me anywhere else either). Come to find out, they say the hotel “closed” yet I can go to the website and make a booking for a room RIGHT NOW (and all throughout the 10 days I was originally booked for). So I guess Sonder V just didn’t want *me* staying there - there are active reviews throughout the month of January and rooms can still be actively booked at this very moment (one of which is absolutely the one I booked that they canceled with no explanation other than that they are “closed” when they clearly aren’t). I canceled my flight and car rental and entire birthday vacation because of this.

This property was exactly what you paid for. We did have to switch rooms because of the smell of cigarette smoke in our first room. But our second room was more spacious and clean. It’s quiet and in a great location, near many shops and restaurants. Parking was available for an extra $15-$20 a night I believe. Staff was friendly and helpful.
