Zafiro Palace Palmanova

Fantastic Resort with great facilities Really enjoyed the meals, excellent quality and variety of food.

We stayed in Zafiro Palace Palmanova, for the 2nd time, May 2024. The place is amazing and the staff can’t do enough to help. We originally booked B&B, but after seeing the standard of local food and trying the in-house restaurants, immediately upgraded. No regrets! The good is first class. Beautiful hotel, very professional staff, beautiful weather, yummy food and wine, excellent time enjoyed with my family.

We have stayed at IKOS resorts for our last five holidays, but now both children are over 12 and count as adults, it has become too expensive. We wanted a hotel similar to an IKOS experience, but for a more reasonable price and Zafiro was a good alternative. The buffet and a la carte restaurants were excellent and the drinks menu had lots of variety. Our room was lovely, we upgraded to a rooftop terrace suite when we arrived, which was very spacious. We missed the sunlounger drinks service, especially as the queue for daytime drinks could be very slow. It is difficult to book the a la carte restaurants, which was a shame. The main pool was unheated, but this meant that families with younger children tended to stay in the children's pool, so that kept the main pool quieter. The beach was lovely and a five minute walk away, as well as the main resort centre with souvenir shops, which the children enjoyed visiting. Overall, we thought this was a great alternative for families priced out of IKOS and looking for something similar.

We recently stayed for 9 nights May/June 2024 over England’s half term holidays. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would visit again. My kids are 9 and 7 and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very helpful with all my queries beforehand via email. On arrival check in was very quick and we were able to upgrade to a swim up room for a reasonable price which I was very happy about. The kids absolutely loved the swim up room and it made for a very relaxing stay as they were entertained all day. We were all inclusive and the food was excellent in the buffet and pool side lunch restaurant. We visited the three a la carte restaurants too and enjoyed the food there also. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout.

A superb holiday all around: The good: close to the airport (20 mins) beautiful grounds and pools. Brilliant kids pools. Rooms were very nicely appointed, all with decent views, very good large beds. Mini bar and drinks offerings were excellent and felt 5 star. (Cocktails were brilliant and Estrella on tap) Food was varied and plentiful, didn’t get too boring and the service from nearly every member of staff was very high. You need to visit Palma for a few hours as it’s a lovely place. Improvements: A few times we didn’t get enough fresh towels for everyone in our party. We found out we were a few days out of their season opener so there wasn’t much daytime activity, the two pool bars weren’t open (one opened two days before we left which we loved) no inflatables in the pool which we didn’t know and had bought one as loads of people did. The kids disco is at 4pm (way too early) and there wasn’t much easy to grab food in between Buffett opening without sitting down and waiting. Overall a definite recommend.

Wonderful hotel, lovely food, immaculate rooms and surroundings. Our room was standard but we were so impressed with the size. Lovely big open bathroom with large bath, separate shower and his and hers sink. Plenty of storage. Slightly less lovely outside the hotel as you go into Palma Nova, lots of stag and hens but that certainly didn’t affect the quality of our stay.

Overall a pleasant unscheduled break however this hotel was aimed more at young families not older couples.

I couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Food was excellent and I’m alittle fussy. All staff were exceptional and couldn’t help you more. Loved having the Jacuzzi. Will be booking again.
