Meininger Hotel Paris Porte de Vincennes

Charged €12 to store luggage, absolutely ridiculous. Have used Meininger a few times in other countries and never been charged. When I contacted them I was told oh it’s normal… sorry I’ve been around the world and never had a hotel charged for luggage before and after check in! The room was like a prison cell. Mattress like cardboard. ZERO ventilation. Literally ran out at 9am to get air. Window could not be opened and NO air con. It was 25c while there - be wary if you stay in summer. Man checking us in was incredibly surly. The only upside to this awful stay was it was close to the park. Oh and also the pillows are tiny and you only get one

Still waiting for update for our complain from management, keeping silent does not stop anything. It's was un-humanity act from all 3 F&b staff for treating guest for paying their salary

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at Mininger Hotel. While the overall experience was initially satisfactory, a series of unfortunate incidents occurred during our departure that significantly tarnished our perception of your establishment. During our two-night stay, we found the accommodations to be clean and comfortable, and the arrival process was smooth. However, our experience took a drastic turn on the morning of our departure. I had requested breakfast takeaway for my children before our departure, but to my surprise, nothing was prepared when I went to collect it. I was then directed by the receptionist to approach the restaurant staff to request something for my kids. Upon following the instructions given to me, I entered the restaurant to find it closed. Despite this, I approached the restaurant staff politely to request some food for my children. To my shock and dismay, I was met with hostility and aggression from three restaurant staff members, particularly from an African-looking lady who treated us disrespectfully. She began yelling at me in French and proceeded to chase us out of the restaurant. This appalling behavior completely ruined our stay and left a lasting negative impression. Despite bringing this incident to the attention of the management and requesting an investigation, I was disappointed to find that my concerns were dismissed. Instead of addressing the misconduct of your staff, I was blamed for not ordering breakfast takeaway in advance. As a result of this experience, I regret to inform you that I will not be returning to any Mininger hotels in the future, and I will be sharing my experience with others. I urge you to take this matter seriously and implement measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future. I sincerely hope that you will take appropriate action to address this issue and restore the reputation of your establishment.

I was there with couple of friends and we enjoyed our stay very much! The room was very nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good! Metro was nearby and the neighborhood felt safe. Overall great and affordable choice!

Arriving in Paris on a very hot day we were delighted to find our room cool and comfortable. The room was clean and functional. The hotel staff friendly and the location excellent for walking around Paris. The room sizing is tight but we knew that when booking and considering room prices in Paris the value was excellent. Plenty of great places to buy breakfast and walk nearby.

Stayed for 4 nights and every day at breakfast Mohammed greeted us with a brilliant smile and warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even our more odd requests of completing challenges! Thank you so much Mohammed, you made our stay a happy one and also helped us to bring smiles to children who stayed in the UK too with your help with our quests! Top notch service with a smile, 10/10!

I was there with my family just for one week. Everything was fine. Room was big and clean. Also food was good. Trip was enjoyable even for my two years old dog. I can recommend this Hotel to everyone.

Nice, clean, friendly people, good location for access to Paris by underground. However you need to pay some extra to have the room cleaned. Not really needed for our 6-days stay. Has the option to cook in the kitchen, very handy for dinners!
