First of all , one has to know, the pictures they use to advertise have almost nothing to do with what you really get. They advertise nicely decorated rooms, modern remodeled bathrooms, attractive corridors- that is not true. Be prepared to get a super tiny room without AC, remodeled probably 30 years ago as you can see on my pictures. The bathroom was not just outdated, it was as old as hell.  Besides they were in the process of changing floors in the corridors. The room they gave us first was in the area of floor change. So, the floor was covered with glue and was sticky. I lost my shoe while trying to get to the room. After complaining they gave me another room. But my shoes were ruined by glue and dirt and I had to buy new ones next day! To be fare, on the good side is the breakfast, which was good.

The location is great, very close to the train station. The high-floor rooms offer excellent views. Breakfast is typical Swedish (nothing particularly delicious), but has all the essentials. It's a standard business hotel. On the day of arrival, the front desk informed me they were fully booked and downgraded my room without offering any compensation. After Ctrip intervened, I received some compensation. The next day, I changed to the original high-floor room with a view, which overlooked the entire city, the seaside, and the bridge.

Recently stayed at Scandic Malmo City Hotel and the experience was absolutely perfect. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel’s location is ideal—quiet yet close to the city’s main attractions and charming streets. The room was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They also have a laundry room facility for free. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Malmo. I will definitely return on my next trip!

Super accessible location right off the train platform if coming from Copenhagen via elevator. Great perks like free early check-in and member coffee (though it ran out by evening). Room drawbacks: a bit too dim with limited lighting, and only 2 small pillows provided for two people (one each, which isn't enough). Overall a decent stay with great location convenience, but room details could be improved.

It was a comfortable stay and better what we thought it would be. The hotel also had a gym with sauna which was a bonus! The location is good and right beside a mall as well as shops and cafes all around. It is also quite near the bus stop.The receptionists were also really helpful and nice. They also have a luggage storage room at the side to keep after checkout.

In the Goben transfer, choose to stay in Malmö, this hotel is in a good location, suitable for people who visit this city for the first time, very close to the train station. The station navigation will let you go out of the station from the right hand side, but the road suitcase of the goose* stone is not very good to walk. It is recommended to push the luggage to the left side. The hotel is behind the building facing the station. It is coffee and tea 24-hour self-service. The key tea bags are my favorite brand. It is very comfortable to sit in the library and drink coffee. The room is not big, but it is very tasteful. I like this habit of not taking the initiative to clean. You need to ask for cleaning. In fact, leisure is to hope not to be disturbed. The only drawback is that the room for me is at the entrance and exit. Every morning, there are cleaning shelves or what sound is not small, because they are all small stairs, they need to drag down, and there are suitcases. There are small ladders. Maybe if I live for a long time, I won’t be given a location close to the entrance and exit. There are hair dryers, hot water bottles, coffee and tea bags, and small refrigerators. It seems that the hot water bottle is not very common in Nordic countries. This one still has everything, breakfast is very rich, bread is super delicious

The hotel is in perfect location. Very clean and stuff very polite and kind. We have booked deluxe room sea view because of the full window sea view everyone is talking about but we were disappointed with what we got, since the majority of the view at the sea side was wall (picture attached). No beauty kit is included (cap…) Breakfast area has great view of the city, during the weekend is so busy and pretty tiny and needs reservation , the breakfast choice is nice. During workdays when there is no crowd and is so nice and calm. Anyhow nice hotel but i had higher expectation of the room chosen.

First time in Malmo and we came upon this hotel. Love every bit of it. A small room but perfect for us. We reached early and was told to pay $150 for early check in but we find it unreasonable and didn’t proceed with it. However they have a storage that comes with a lock for us to store our luggage while we wait for the check in time. Other than that, the stay was great :)

I booked this hotel because I was watching a game at Malmö Arena. It's only a 3-4 minute walk to the venue, and 1 minute to the 24H McDonald's at the train station. I stayed here last year too. The rooms are clean, but it's a typical European 3-star/4-star hotel – very basic with nothing much provided. Housekeeping needs to be specially requested, and you have to go to the front desk for refills of towels and tissues. I used to think their breakfast was good, but this year, it was the exact same for four days. Only one dish changed over the four days.

We had a disabled room. It was a little bigger and comfortable. Unfortunately, AC missed and it could become very hot. We had a view to the grand square and there people gather kl.03 at night when the exhibits close. It's getting quite noisy because it was so hot in the room that we have to sleep with windows open. It was taxi cars there and after 20-25 minutes it became empty and quiet again. But the location fine, staff nice, rooms clean and breakfast good. So it was a good experience overall.
