This resort is wonderfully located on the banks of ***dakini river. Service is excellent, food is also excellent. I made this as my base stay for a trek to Tungnath. The rooms have private seatout and its all peaceful, river sound comes on background. I went to river two times, drank clean natural water. In food, the parathas are delicious.

I have visited this place thrice and it's a live heaven❤️ Even if you are visiting for just trekking to hills other than chardham yatra, this place is a second name of peace ✌️. I repeatedly came and stay in verdant valley. It feels like home. Thanks to Rahul for his wonderful hospitality. He never made me feel away from home 🏠.

This place is a real find. The valley is a magical place, with river frontage to the ***dakani, and a great view of Kedarnath peak. The room was very comfortable, and the food was fantastic, so getting the meal plan was such a smart move by our friends. The staff were super friendly and Rahul gave us the best advice to leave for our hike to Chandra Sela at 5am ... so we not only saw the famous Monals, but also had sensational views of the snows from the top of Chandra Sela. Great work guys. Thanks so much for your warm hospitality!

A beautiful serene setup by the ***dakini River. You can choose to relax sitting by the river; light up a bon fire or hike up to the Deoriatal lake. You also have the option of Chopta trek from here. We had A***, who was the guide with us for the Deoriatal trek. A*** is very knowledgeable about the geography and filled in the historical relevance of Deorital. Do ask for A*** as your guide when you visit Deoriatal or Chopta. Don't expect swanky rooms in the Ecolodge. It is meant to give you an experience of being close to nature. We did not miss the TV ! The food particularly was good - Simple , tasty, wholesome food ! A must visit on your next Uttarakhand visit.

I have done Chardham Yatra with GIO recently and it was an amazing experience. I didn’t have faced any problem during the journey. GIO’s every accommodation and it’s hospitality is good. My overall experience is positive with GIO and I would like to plan my future trips with GIO. Special thanks to Vishal Rana sir for planning a very good Chardham itinerary for me. I strongly recommend GIO for treks and trips.

I booked the Kedarkantha trek with GIO in Dec 2021 . We were fortunate to get lovely weather all ***** the way , the trek was fun and could be suggested to people with baseline fitness. We were spoilt with tasty food , our campsites were at the best locations , the quality of tents and amenities were fine and maintained. I felt very secure and safe ***** the way . They make you feel special and deliver the services with highest of dedication and care. The team is highly experienced and attracts a great crowd. Once booked with GIO , There are only nice surprises to look forward to. This being my first trek , I am glad to do it with GIO and looking forward for more.

So, If you are finding peace and wanted to stay just apart from city noises, This is the best place. Chef, food and especially tea with maggie is amazing Rahul especially, is so so so supportive in all things starting from geyser, showers to dinners. Ajay is the best one to get you your photographs clicked 😁 And rest all will make you feel like home . Just a lil bit electricity problem that too causes problems in winters if you uses geyser. Lastly They made our new year’s 2021❤️

I stayed at the Himalayan Eco Lodge in Kund with my 8 year old and friends with kids around X'mas in 2021. It was the perfect getaway from covid. We found isolation, serenity and peace. This is a beautiful resort built at multiple levels. People with walking difficulties may find access a challenge. However, if fitness is your goal, the walk to and from from cottage to cafeteria is enough to build up a justified appetite. We loved it and so did our kids. The staff lead by Rahul is amazingly warm and helpful. Our constant de***ds for popcorn, fries, masala papad etc were well met! They arranged a lovely bonfire for us and it was splendid to listen to the babbling ***dakini, in the company of mighty mountains around a toasty fire. We visited ukhimath which is very close. So is guptkashi. We also trekked to Tungnath and further on summitted Chandrashila peak. All made possible by Rahul and the Gio adventures team who ensured we are properly equipped and prepped to do this trek. The importance of their efforts was more than evident when we walked by groups who did not have proper shoes or crampons or walking sticks and gave up or got injured on the ice as a result. Our success and safety ( my 8 year old summitted) is completely credited to the Gio team. Thank you for a marvelous adventure.
