Kahya Resort Aqua & Spa

I would not advise this hotel. It is being advertised as a 4 or 5 star hotel, I would say it is more a 3*. To start we was greeted at reception by no English speaking staff, would not give us our key despite it being 4pm (after travelling since 4am), told us to go and get food to then not be able to find any food. Walking around the hotel I could then see we had been duped by possibly fake trip adviser reviews? Went back to reception and asked for our key- they got the rep to ask what I was saying then gave the key. Staff want a tip for doing bare minimum. Only 2 lift so wait for about 10 mins at a time. Had 2x interconnecting rooms booked but given 1 family room. Trying to navigate the food with an allergy was a nightmare, would not advise this to anyone with an allergy at all, was told my reception to speak to the chef- asked the chef about allergens and was screamed at to ask reception with the plate grabbed out of my hands. People walking around with boom boxes blasting their music out next to the kids pool, nobody telling them to turn it off?? Couples fighting by the pool- a Turkish man physically threw his wife in the pool on top of their child and no security anywhere to be seen. Bed like a rock, could hear the man in the next room snoring all night as if he was in the bedroom with me and his alarm going off on his phone in the morning like it was my phone, honestly no exaggeration! Kids club aimed at Turkish kids in the day but the staff were lovely, can’t knock them. It’s on the side of the motorway, so just really depends what you’re looking for in a hotel. Pools NOT heated, despite reviews, the sea was warmer than the pools. WiFi chargeable. Shops all over the hotel. We all also kept waking up with puffy eyes, not sure if there was something in the room despite them appearing clean. Cleaners knocked on the door at 8am 3 of the days, luckily our kids had us up and ready for breakfast anyway 2 of the days or our room wouldn’t have been cleaner for 3 days in a row. Good points - lovely staff by the pool and kids club, kids pool would be good with a bit of security around, beach and beach bar was great with great staff including life guard and a place to escape the people with their boom boxes. Saw a life guard jump in a pull someone out of the water after they spotted them getting hurt going down a slide, brilliant job! Food is very fresh in the restaurant and has some lovely salad but it’s all Turkish foods and there is no fresh fruit except for a selection of apples. Lazy river was good. We made the best of the week and had a good family holiday but I was very disappointed, and even tried to move hotels on the first day. Probably best description would be Turkish Benidorm.

Amazing hotel and staff have been looked after so well...the shisha place in the hotel was amazing..best holiday....cannot wait to come back

Very clean, big hotel. Room service was very helpful. Animations was varied for adults and kids. The musics was very great and the activities that they were doing so wonderfully specially archery and dart, the food was great, the shows at the amphi theatherwas amazing.

Avoid at all costs!! Full of rude staff, bad food and drunken people, fights and chavs, Spent 7 long days and nites here, staff are rude and unhelpful, food is poor and flavourless, whole place needs to be refurbished, spa staff constantly at you to book treatments, honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and won’t ever be returning again

This resort is a very attractive resort in itself with lots of activities and shows that take place throughout the week. It’s very clean and staff went the extra mile to provide us with a family room so me and my family can be next to eachother. There are separate pools. However the beach isn’t that attractive with a very small amount of sand. Bedrooms are a brilliant spacious size, HOWEVER, they dont provide you with duvet’s to sleep! It is just blankets and that would be the main downside for me! We had to ask for extra blankets on request but it still took away from the luxury feel unfortunately as it didn’t feel great with our a comfy duvet. Another disadvantage would be the lack on English that the staff speak. They really need to hire and train the employers to speak basic English as this caused a lot of communication issues specially when ordering a taxi. The location outside of the hotel is a big disadvantage with absolutely nothing to do and looks very unattractive outside of the resort. I would say this is more suitable for family vacation. Overall a good resort if you are on a budget with delicious food.

Don’t go if you want a nights sleep walls paper thin Kids running riot all night banging on doors I was near a lift ,I heard every journey taken. Very few staff speak Any English So we were ignored while making a request to move rooms No wi fi you have to pay by the day I like Turkish food but every thing was cold breakfast was a fried egg on bread. No tea facilities in the room The drinks are inclusive if you get the right drinks my five year old was given a cocktail instead of water. On the bright side the rooms were spotless and the poos clean Slides only open 10-12 and 2-4 pools close at Half four Never heard so many people pleased to be going home Such a shame ….

We would find it hard to complain about anything about our stay at Kahya Resort. The hotel was great, well presented and laid out, clean and comfortable. The amenities are ample with everything you could need. Pools are clean and lots of options depending on what you feel like. Food was beautifully displayed and lots of variety and plenty. The entertainment was fantastic and the staff very friendly and enthusiastic. The magic show and fire show were outstanding and should go international. We booked our excursions through Isaac who was friendly, informative and easy to discuss all aspects of our expectations and finances. We did quite a few excursions each one outstanding in value for money and experience. I would recommend booking through him. We would highly recommend Kahya resort and would definitely book again.
