Club Sun Heaven - All Inclusive

Where to start. First of all not posh or hard to please on holiday don't complain but if I can help one person have a better holiday elsewhere. We booked for a break thinking 5 star be good. Location bad food my god same food every day. No toaster serious you have to ask for knife and fork. Also advertised free wi fi you have to pay. Indoor pool advertised nope part of turkish massage so you can't use. Only Tuborg beer no efes. In your room no mini bar just water. Staff so lazy young kids you move a chair dirt everywhere. I have been 5 star even 3 star in Turkey so much better.

I have just returned from a 2 week stay here, hotel is lovely, room is lovely do suggest you get a standard room and not economy room best decision we made, pool is very clean hotel staff are lovely quite a few of them don’t understand much English but you can muddle through fine enough, now the food… breakfast is great pancakes eggs etc we didn’t go to the buffet restaurant for lunch only snack bar so can’t comment but snack bar is what it is snack food but all great! Now for evening meal they most definitely do cater more for other nationalities but why wouldn’t you if that’s the main custom but it can be very hit and miss but more days good the bad we ended up just skipping the bad nights and going for a McDonald’s or Burger King but it definitely isn’t the food you’d expect for a so called 5* maybe other nationalities believe it is but not our standards, Drinks and cocktails are a great selection especially the pina colada and mojito I would suggest if you wish to go to a supermarket don’t use the one in the hotel very overpriced plus they just charge what the feel like there and then just go for a wonder out the hotel and use a local supermarket just not the one next door as there just as bad as belong to hotel next door! . About 90% that stay here are mainly Russian and they can sometimes be very rude especially when it comes to food time no please and thank you, push in and just treat the chefs and waiters like rubbish the first week we stayed I was shocked it was like they’ve never eaten before and eat cause it’s there and paid for!! breakfast at 7, ice cream at 10, snack bar at 11, main restaurant at 12:30, snack bar again at 2 then cake at 4 then tea at 7 (second week when more people came and went wasn’t so bad) but also the amount of fruit and cakes that get taken back to the rooms or shoved in carrier bags (even though there are signs forbidding that you take food out the restaurant) I suggest if you do eat the evening meal you either wait until most people have eaten and go for diner at around 7:30-8 still the same amount of food there just less busy or get down around 6:45 and get in before they have the chance, this hotel is very kid friendly play area, kids club etc but not many kids seem to use it second week not so bad but first week they just caused mayhem and havoc around the hotel with no parents in site I felt very sorry for the hotel staff having to clear up after them and not able to say a word they were definitely brought up without knowing what manners are chucking water out the fridges on the floor like water bombs in the bar areas and on people sitting having drinks no parents in sight poor staff have to clear it up, running around snack bars with plates scooping up chips with hands (maybe our first week was cheaper for some other countries as second week more behaved) I also suggest you go breakfast early to before they can get there hands on the muffins and pastries hands used only don’t bother with tongues or pl

The place is lovely to look at, but that’s about it. The staff are so rude! You get mocked for using your manners and the staff can be very inappropriate too. Even the night we arrived the man in reception wasn’t welcoming or friendly. We were shown to our room and that was it normally you get told where to go for food and things like that. Not much English spoken either so had to work out a lot of things for ourselves. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Keep to yourself if you come here

We had a lovely stay in Club Sun Heaven. The trip from the airport takes two hours, but it's worth it. Konakli can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, but there is also a regular bus. Great location, right on a beautiful sand and pebble beach. And the city is also easy to reach on foot. Beach is close and you have all of the facilities you need ( shops, swimming pool, water slides, sea). The cleanliness is excellent, the beach is very well maintained. A very good hotel for a beach holiday. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and responsive to guests' needs. The staff was always friendly, from the first to the last employee, fulfilled all our wishes and made it a lot of fun. I've never seen anyone in a bad mood. Hotel area is clean. The rooms are perfect and clean, modern and cozy furniture, great bathroom, large balcony. The rooms are equipped with a small minibar with water, kettle, safe, air conditioning, and TV. The size is sufficient big, the beds are luxurious. The food and drinks has a plenty of selection to choose from. All dishes were very varied and very tasty. The restaurant/kitchen/bars staff is lovely as usual, they will do everything to make your stay more comfortable. The staff in this hotel are very professional. Very professional, and will do everything to make your stay better. In general we have nothing bad to say about this hotel. You will find here everything you need, and hotel staff will make your experience even better. During the day you have a snack bar which is a great thing if you get hungry during the day in between meals! We had a delicious dinner in the A La Carte and there were themed nights such as seafood and Turkish cuisine. Hotel is full of entertainment. Animation for every taste. Whether it's water sports, entertainment, a Spa or an evening shows for adults and kids, a lot of playground for kids, big kids-club there's something for everyone. We felt very comfortable from day one. We were surprised by the hospitality, made many new pleasant acquaintances and are looking forward to next year. I can't understand some of the comments...if you want luxury you'll have to dig deeper into your pockets. If you want peace and quiet and don't like socializing, you will have to book a individual hotel or an adult hotel. This is a clean family run hotel with polite and respectful staff, tasty food and a ot of facilities. I have seen a lot of negative reviews from guests, but from myself I can say that this is an international hotel and all guests are welcome here. We would highly recommend this hotel for everyone and our family will definitely return here.

I only consider our stay at the hotel as pleasent because of the crew. I'm a backpacker and not a fan of all inclusive stays. I would have get bored badly if it wasn't for the amazing guys who's smily faces and chats made every day outstanding. Always up their toes even after long night at the bar or entertaining people. In the low season it all could be pleasent as not many guests but when the heat kicks, the people too and apart from the staff, not many of them you could get any conversation with....because eastern peeps don't know any English. Those guys made our stay 100% and should be appreciated big time, otherwise the stay would have been miserable. Bad WiFi is chargeable even though on the booking site says it's included. Veg food is near non existent. Besides bread, french fries, and potatoes, rice, plain pasta (and watery pasta sauce, and salads. On top of that, nothing is marked for allergies or a simple 'V' to show if veg or even vegans can have. It's been done in other places, can't see why it's not here. Garden fast food is again very meat heavy. Veg eaters have boiled potatoes (no cheese), choice of salads, fries, and ketchup. They have a pizza area but they're all ready made with entirely the same toppings (meat), so they physically can't make veggie or even margarita pizzas even on request. They timings they give are miss leading for the restaurant. It opens 15 mins earlier (not a big deal), and they start closing everything except for the main single line 30 mins to an hour prior to closing time. So all you have is 1 line for everyone in the resort to get food from, exept salads, dips, desserts, cheeses which all get put away. This means there's a rush for everyone to eat early which means for the 1st hr or so you aren't able to find a table if you're not on time exactly. And any later means you have to eat fast to make sure they don't take away anything. Even though there are juice and hot drink machines literally everywhere, they seem to have some drinks disabled on certain machines so if I want a hot chocolate, I have to go across the resort to the cafe for it. They only have ice cream when it's the least hot during the day. Meaning no ice cream between 11am to 8pm. The towel service is one I've not experienced yet. You have to give a deposit to get a towel card (this is standard) but that 1 towel has to last you the entire trip. If you want to change your towel for a fresh one, it costs 1 euro per change. If you want to use the games room, it'll cost you. (Semi reasonable) They have 1 slide in the resort which is open between 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm. We were skeptical at first but after a few days it wasn't that bad. You get the urge to use it because of the time limit. Sometimes they do close the slides early too, but that's the life guards actions as they get to go early for lunch of they do that. Even though it might say everywhere that this resort is English friendly, I have yet to meet anyone here that can even speak semi fluent English (minus 2 of the entertainers). They have their signs in Turkish, Russian, and English, which is a little helpful, but everyone here doesn't seem to have an issue with Russian (using the few words I do know of russian). Its also not a diverse resort either. We were the only people of colour in the entire resort. If you call reception with a request in English and reception can't understand, they just simply hang up. The beach is a little bit of a let down (comparing it to other resorts we've been to). This is a very nice clean hotel could be a 5 star but the food they serve is defo not!!! very hit and miss some days good other days serving fried offal or random chicken bones with fat no meat and under cooked chicken wings. The hotel is mainly Russians who spoil the whole experience being rude and obnoxious,fighting for food and drinks letting their kids run wild while they get sloshed. The staff are mainly very friendly tho the bar men always look pissed off when you ask for a drink lol and look out for the bell boy who takes your bags up literally won’t leave until you give him a tip just stands in the doorway staring!There are shops on site but charge ridiculous prices best off walking to the local shops about 5/10 mins away from hotel.Although overall I had a good stay I would defo not return again.

This is a honest review in some short words, do not go here if you are English. Everyone looks and speaks to you like rubbish and English are not catered for in any regard. It’s honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had in turkey, so I’m very very dissatisfied

The hotel is really good and the best thing is the pool bar with great guys, Yakup, Azat, Dogac, Berivan, they do a great job. Very nice place to relax and I really recommend to visit this place!
