Aeolos Beach Resort

Ο ιστότοπος είναι υπέροχος, αν και υπάρχει ο συνεχής ήχος από σφάλματα (που ακούγονται σαν γρύλοι) όλη την ημέρα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πιο βασικό από το αναμενόμενο. Είπαμε ότι πρέπει να πληρώσουμε για εμφιαλωμένο νερό - κάτι που ήταν απροσδόκητο. Το δείπνο το πρώτο βράδυ ήταν ένας εφιάλτης. Υπήρχε μια ετικέτα για μια χορτοφαγική πίτα και παρόλο που έλεγξα ξανά το περιεχόμενο με τον σεφ που βρισκόταν κοντά, όταν την τσιμπούσε, περιείχε χοιρινό κρέας. Μετά την αναφορά στον θυρωρό, μου υποσχέθηκαν καλύτερες ετικέτες την επόμενη μέρα - κάτι που δεν τηρήθηκε ποτέ. Οι ετικέτες ήταν οι ίδιες - και όταν ζήτησα από τον σεφ πληροφορίες τη δεύτερη μέρα, μου είπαν ότι δεν ήθελαν να μου πουν λανθασμένες πληροφορίες και επομένως αρνήθηκαν να δώσουν συμβουλές. Είπε ότι πρέπει να δοκιμάσω τα πιάτα με δική μου ευθύνη. Το δωμάτιο είχε νεκρά ζωύφια στους τοίχους. Σαφώς από προηγούμενους επισκέπτες που είχαν χρησιμοποιήσει μια παντόφλα για να πιέσουν ένα κουνούπι ή δύο/τρία/τέσσερα/πέντε. Ο θυρωρός έστειλε μια καθαρίστρια να τα αφαιρέσει μετά την αναφορά. Το κρεβάτι ήταν σκληρό και οι εφεδρικές κουβέρτες ήταν καλυμμένες με τα μαλλιά του πρώην επισκέπτη. Παρόλο που αυτό αναπτύχθηκε και με τον θυρωρό, οι κουβέρτες δεν άλλαξαν ποτέ. Έλειπε η ψυχαγωγία - πολύ παρωχημένη. Κλείσαμε ένα δείπνο στο εστιατόριο Ionio για να γιορτάσουμε τα γενέθλια και δεν το αναφέρθηκε από το προσωπικό - τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο για την περίσταση. Το φαγητό ήταν αρκετά άγευστο και εκεί. Οι πισίνες ήταν ωραίες - ο επισκέπτης έκανε κράτηση με πετσέτες πολύ νωρίς ωστόσο. Συνολικά, όχι η εμπειρία που περιμέναμε.

The best holiday I have ever been on, hotel was absolutely stunning I wish we could have stayed longer, such a big place with so much to do and so much to see, staff so friendly and hotel was just simply stunning. cannot wait to return!

We have just returned from 7 nights at this hotel. Both my partner and I thought that our stay was very good for a 4* offering. We stayed in the top row of bungalows just up from the pool. The room was spacious & clean, air con good, free safe use & a good size bath. Only downside it that due to your card having to be inserted for the rooms electric the fridge switched off when outside the room which wasn’t ideal. Hair dryer provided was useless so bring your own. Rooms were serviced daily to a good standard. Pools were clean and tidy albeit a bit cold! Beach an added bonus, cups cleared quickly from loungers, quiet and relaxing. It was lovely to have a range of bars to choose from and really enjoyed the bar up by the top pool before heading down to dinner. Unfortunately the older lady and gent working on the bar at the main building were uninviting, did not seem to want to be working and quiet rude! Other than this all other staff were attentive and pleasant. Main restaurant was fabulous with a great range of options for breakfast, lunch & dinner, certainly something for everyone. Coffee at breakfast was not great, this needs looking in to. The 2 al a carte restaurants were of good standard and was lovely to have these evening break up our meals at the buffet. I did find that at both al a carte restaurants the water served had an odd smell and opted to pay for bottled water instead. I would suggest purchasing packs of 6 large bottles of water from the shop over the road at €3 rather than €2 a bottle at the bars throughout the day. The option to have a towel card (with a deposit of €10) which could be swapped in for a clean towel or card at each bar was fabulous. Would be handy if there was somewhere to do this before 10am however. Misquotes are living there best life here & I highly advise purchasing some repellent before you arrive. When we arrived at the Aeolos beach resort, it ticked all our boxes. It was absolutely amazing. We were dropped at the gate house to be greeted by the gate man who radioed for a buggy to take us to the main reception, which came promptly to take us and our cases to the reception, where we were very pleasantly welcomed by Vassa, and another lovely lady (sorry didn't catch your name) as it was near the time for dinner to end, she put our wrist bands on and said we go and get food and then Finnish our check in afterwards. Which was very kind. We went into the restaurant to find a delicious and enjoyable spread of lots of lovely food. Beef Wellington was gorgeous. Our stay just got even better, we had a bungalow with garden view, but when we woke the next day also had a lovely view of the sea too. Added bonus which was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and a real treat sitting on the outside covered terrace looking out over the sea. The breakfast was very tasty with everything you could possibly want from yoghurts, fruit, toast pastries, omelette to a full breakfast if desired. Dinner was lovely too, always something for everyone, and every night was a themed night. We tried the two a la carte restaurants, and they were both of very high standards and enjoyable, we did the beach a la carte on Thursday as it was our second wedding anniversary, and it was lovely, listening to the waves in the back ground. Yet again food was lovely. Cleaners did an excellent job too and provided us with clean towels, and free toiletries regularly. Also want to say thank you to Anthea and George on the bar, for making lovely drinks and making us welcome and wish george all the very best at uni. Also thank you to the golf buggy drivers, who work hard to transport us around the grounds, and up to the lagoon bar. There are so many of you that we would like to thank for making our holiday such a really enjoyable and memorable one. Congratulations on your 50th anniversary and here's to the next. You all deserve such a good review, as you sure made our holiday so enjoyable. Thank you xx

Myself and my partner stayed here for ten days and absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic, hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and our view was amazing!! So close to the beach, and the beach restaurant was great! Easy access to Corfu old town, with a bus stop just outside the hotel. Very quick transfer from the airport Will recommend to all our family and friends and we will be back :)

Review Sorry but it’s a long review and specific as that what I appreciate. We stayed for 1 week at end of September. We stayed in the sea view bungalow at the very top of the resort, Artemis. It took us many days to decide which resort to book as there were mixed reviews. We were not disappointed, all the staff are friendly, polite and happy to help. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided, there is a decent size fridge in the rooms which was really useful. The food was excellent, plenty to choose from although I do think vegans would struggle, we are both meat eaters but my husband ate lots of the veggie dishes as they were varied and tasty. If we are being picky some of the food wasn’t as hot as we’d have liked but considering they are mass catering for several hundred people it really was very good indeed. Huge selections offered at every meal and at least 3 red wines, 3 white wines and 3 rose wines to choose from. We only had 1 lager and it definitely was not watered down as some reviews suggest. Many spirits on offer gin, baileys (the real stuff) vodka etc. we frequented the top pool as seemed quieter and was nearer our room, staff at this bar were our favourite especially Sakis and Nektarios, lovely guys. There’s a pool chap who walks round constantly tidying up the pool area, sweeping and collecting glasses. It is a steep walk from restaurant to the top of the resort and my husband has arthritis of his knees, so by the end of the week we did use the buggy’s a lot, we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for one, again pleasant chaps drive these round and help with bags etc. there’s a couple of little shops in the hotel that sell souvenirs, cigarettes, sun cream etc. We got the the bus to Corfu town having purchased tickets from little shop in foyer. It picks you up where it drops you off and they do send you to ticket machine if you haven’t got one, so I’d recommend you have them to hand. if you like lots of little shops selling local goods then it is quite quaint and there are lots of churches to visit and many bars. Our highlight was a trip to the British cemetery, a short walk from bus stop, beautiful and tranquil with free roaming tortoises. If we had have known it would be a lovely spot for a picnic. We went end of September and weather hot and sunny with 1 rainy morning. Great electrical storms on mainland Greece in the evenings. Lots of very friendly cats who seem well fed. Lots of mosquitos. We did visit both a la carte restaurants which need to be pre booked, food was good but is more seafood based at the Paralia one and we aren’t sea food people. Tips: get your beach towel card when you check in €10 each but saves you having to go back to reception later, you hand these to the bar people and they give you the towels. You can swap every day for clean ones. One thing I would recommend the hotel does is put working locks on the pool toilets, which are unisex and having men barge in is off putting and

We stayed at the Aeolos Beach Resort at the end of September and had a fantastic first holiday with our four month old. The hotel staff were all so welcoming and very helpful and accommodating with our baby. We had requested a cot in our room which was ready for us when we arrived late in the evening. The hotel grounds themselves are beautiful and the gardens are really well kept. As the resort is on a hillside, the views across the ocean are stunning. We paid for a room with a sea view which was definitely worth it (room 712). The restaurants over look the ocean and is a spectacular backdrop for breakfast and dinner. A highlight of the holiday was the amazing food on offer. There is such a huge variety, you can easily have something different at each meal. The food was fresh and hot and, although we aren’t vegan or vegetarian, these options were excellent. The deserts were delicious, particularly the Greek options and the ice creams. We enjoyed lunch at the pizza/pasta restaurant most days - the food here is excellent and we also enjoyed our two al a carte meals, particularly the Mediterranean one which was fantastic. This is such a lovely setting for dinner, right next to the beach. I fail to understand how anyone could find fault with the food - it is 5*! The staff in the restaurants made our stay so special, Anna Maria in particular - she made such a fuss of our daughter which was a really nice touch! We looked forward to breakfast and dinner each day to say hello to her and her colleagues (Angela and Anna to name a few). We spent most days by the family pool which was prefect for little ones but also has great views. We didn’t take part in the entertainment but the staff were enthusiastic and it was fun to watch the aqua aerobics each day and listen to the music. The frozen cocktails at the pool bar were a nice touch and the beer was refreshing in the hot weather! The hotel was very clean and the cleaners did a lovely job on our room each day, tidying/cleaning and supplying fresh towels. We couldn’t fault this service. We used the local bus service was was very good and also hired a car for the day (recommend the car hire opposite the hotel rather than booking through the hotel itself, cheaper and very helpful!) A few things that we felt would have improved our stay; -the room needed a refresh in places, particularly the bathroom which was a bit tatty and dark -the soft drinks were disappointing and the cocktails very average (we bought soft drinks from the shop opposite the hotel) -the food at the pool bars is average - this could be made so much better! The food station by the family pool was often empty and uninspiring (we didn’t t fancy the burgers) but the chips were OK -we found the evening entertainment was lacking compared to other hotels - there is a lovely setting at the pool bar and the entertainment would have been better placed there rather than down by the pool -we arrived around 10pm when the restaurant had c

Top Class Resort, with excellent staff, delicious food, good quality entertainment in a fantastic location! Offered everything we needed and more. Definitely one to recommend and return to in the future!
