Funky Guest House & Adventures

My stay with Funky Guest House in the city of Përmet was incredible! Avenir was a great host and made me feel right at home. He had lots of great suggestions for things to do, and offered me transport to and from the natural thermal baths nearby. The staff are very kind and hospitable, and the accommodations are great, with comfy beds, nice showers, and a cozy feel. The location is beautiful and I would definitely suggest doing one of the outdoor activities that Funky Guest House offers. I did the half-day horse trek, and it was a great way to see the valley and a great deal for the price. Përmet is also a great city for solo female travelers, I felt completely safe during my stay and everyone I met was very helpful and kind. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The guesthouse is right in the centre, only a few minutes walk from the bus terminus. There is a busy cafe at the entrance and a good little terrace on the first floor for drinks and this is where the buffet breakfast is served in the morning. The breakfast is a simple but adequate affair and includes boiled eggs, the coffee was not great, so guests were ordering and paying for coffee from the cafe below. !!! Our room was good, nice and bright with a good sized balcony and pleasant views. The bed was comfortable, although I did find the pillows very soft. The owner can arrange any adventure trips, with collection from the guesthouse. We went on the river rafting which was good fun, even though the river is low in October. The owner also kindly arranged for the local bus to thermal pools to collect us from the guesthouse. On the booking site it says laundry is available (at an extra charge), which was one of the reasons we booked it, however there is no laundry service actually available, which was dissapointing...

The double room we were offerd was very spacious and air-conditioned. We had a private bathroom. We used Funky Guest House as a starting point of an excursion to Lengarica Canyon near Përmet. We also took part in an equistrian excursion organised by Funky, a unforgettable experience. Highly recommended

My husband and I recently stayed at the Funky Guest House in Permet—and thoroughly enjoyed the guest house and the town. We loved the location—right on the town square where we could observe the small town evening stroll—with families and friends gathering at night. The Guest House was very clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast included. We appreciated the efforts of our host—Avenir—to help us have a funky adventure—complete with a wonderful horse trek in the local Vjosa River Valley. Highly recommend Permet and the Funky Guest House for a fun, authentic Albanian experience.

I had a great experience at this place.; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean. the horse riding was special . I will definitely stay there when I come back!

Great little hotel, right in the middle of everything. The hosts are amazing and the coffee shop underneath is the cherry on top. We absolutely loved the experience and will definitely come back. Brownie points to the waitress who was so attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit again ❤️

The room was super clean and had such a cute vibe. Hostess was the nicest she also offered us gliko traditional homemade dessert. Also the included breakfast was super tasty. Love it! Would visit again & would recommend.

I checked in the Funky Guest House in April. The staff were professional and genuinely friendly. I was shown my room and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean. Actually, I would say much cleaner than some of the four and five star hotels I have stayed in and a reasonable fee with a breakfast included. The room was simple and yet quite elegant. It had an AC unit, a vanity basin and a nice shower unit. I was also lucky to get an exquisite view of the town square. I had a double bed with a comfortable mattress which is rarely the case with guest houses. There was a TV on the wall for those who like to watch TV and good Wi-Fi connection. The owner has certainly an eye for detail and that is reflected throughout the Guest House. The way the rooms are named, decorated, the frames on the wall etc..are undoubtedly well thought. I would strongly recommend the Funky Guest House if you are staying in Permet. Overall I was really impressed with the Funky Guest House. I’m rarely impressed with hotels or guest houses but this one definitely stood out. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable, I will definitely come back with my family next time.

Beste Lage am Hauptplatz mit Gratis-Parkplatz. Sehr stilvolle, schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Zuvorkommendes Personal, Chef spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist äusserst aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Gutes Frühstück inklusive.
