Mountain View Guest House

I like a town Phatthalung and this is a wonderful place. A small cozy house in a great location. If you love peace this is the place for you. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room is very bright, clean, the mattress is very comfortable, the air conditioning works well and is quiet. Paul and his wife are very good people, very helpful . The view from the window is amazing. This place is like a retreat. Thank you P&J.

I visited Paul after trying to book there and wasn’t s .. he was friendly and the room was really great.. and quiet ☀️☀️🙏 but .. really I felt not nice from him side to take the bike I paid for 2 days after on day and a half( I rented at 13.30 and the morning when I woke up to a bike was in his hands not even asked me if I need it or not ). I kindly asked him if he can drop Me ( can even pay him for this ) to drop me to bus station .. I filled up gazoline 25 km before To leave it ( I get it with 25%full tank ).. it’s not for the 125 bath of rental that I cant use the bike ..plus the 100 in the tank but just about human and travelers .👌 very mean attitude from you Paul.. sitting in your chair and say « « no I don’t want to drop u «  a long drive of 13 minutes exactly.🧘 I think u don’t get what is be nice.. or even honest .. universe will give it back to you Peace

Quite Literally a Mountain View! It’s a peaceful place , with an exceptionally good little restaurant just a short walking distance away. Room was a bit on the small side, but overall good value for money. Staff were lovely. Nearby there are lots of small shops, including a 7-11.

The Mountain View Guest House is the ideal place as a stop-off on a long journey or to visit the Ok Thalu karst. It's just steps from the start of the mountain and sits right opposite for views. This place is very nicely laid out, with comfy spotless rooms and lots of nice finishing touches that you wouldn't normally get at this price point. The bed was also soft. Pleasant staff--the young ladies at reception were very helpful. Food was also tasty and well priced. Only slight negatives were some pump noise and night lights coming through the curtains, but these were minimal distractions. Highly recommended and will certainly stop by again.
